Love this series

I just don't know about this D&D walled garden VTT. I too am a high school teacher, and on the one hand, the only thing my students play is 5e, I can't get them to play anything else. And they didn't know a thing about the OGL crisis. On the other hand, they play totally theater of the mind -- no terrain, no maps, nothing. I just don't think these kids have any interest in a VTT or playing online -- most of them have never used a VTT. So, I don't know -- when it gets to the point where they are required to be online to play D&D, I think many may finally try something else -- or, you know, maybe go outside.

I got my Beyond account back (through tears of existential inevitability). I'm running 5e again and it is such a good tool. I play predominantly online, so it makes sense. The Maps Alpha is actually really good. I haven't figured out tokens or anything on it, but I managed to upload a map and grid it. That works for me. I'm still Old School to the core, but I've realized I need to slowly introduce OSR elements to my players before making the shift.

What is the best way to get message you about doing an ad on one of your videos?

Thank you. Gonna go share the Lost City on FB right now. Totally stoked for Deathbringer 2027!!! Take my money please!

Rufus Lynks

I greatly enjoyed running around Clifford's Tower in York. The rest of the city was fun too.

I watch every PDM-Video. Even the DnD-videos I am not very interested in. I love the upcoming videos! Looking forward to watch them. Thank you for your work!

Boiling a frog does not work. When it gets too hot it will jump out.

Join us old dudes that work out, PDM. If you can't walk well your health deteriorates quickly.

Simply Love the Opening Music!!! :-) Just beginning the vid and had to share that!

PDM coming to Ireland? Tell me more! Looking forward to all the videos you have on the way. For what it's worth I'd love to see a video on your take on the Village of Hommlet. I think it's a terrific beginner module. As regards Deathbringer, I think the aesthetic sells the game as much as the rules-light aspect. I introduced a new group to the game recently (all experienced D&D players) and it's the grimdark element and the grittiness that they love.

Newcastle is where I am from. I do not live there now, I moved to Norfolk.

Vimeo links are a joke. I'm glad it's a free service because it is really bad. Works on PC, not on phone. Exactly the same link.

I don’t mind the channel including D&D. Independent games and WotC do not have to be mutually exclusive. And the big fish in the pond does have an influence on the smaller fish. So if WotC does something that shakes the industry or may have an effect on other companies, I would like to hear your thoughts. And I encourage you to keep at it with Deathbringer. It’s not the same as Shadowdark. It definitely has a darker more Warhammer (which is clearly the inspiration) vibe to it.

Ginny Di may well stick with D&D, but most of her videos are useful for any system with a D&D-type theme, regardless of mechanics. Unlike Ginny, Dungeon Dudes focus on crunch, so Ginny and the dudes have different considerations when deciding the direction of their channels. Not sure about DD, but Ginny makes her living off her channel, including Patreon and sponsorships, so she has different considerations than Professor Dungeon Master, who has a day job. I like all those channels!

Your art-style videos for reviled society and lost city maybe don’t bring as many views, but reviled society is what made me sign up to Patreon! I love the effort you put into those videos. They are works for art. Love your content

Todd Sharp

Love the job you did with this video. You're my go-to on just about everything and you've definitely made me a better gamemaster. Keep doing whatever it is you're doing, because from the outside looking in; it looks like it's working. On the videos for Reviled Society, etc. I LOVE them. And, I think it sets your channel apart. There are other channels doing terrain building and mini-painting. I don't know of any other channels that actually depict a game narrative with them. Lastly, I've really enjoyed your prep videos. They gave me confidence to 'own' a module myself. I used to be a very 'by the book' type. You've shown that the creative wellspring for player engagement comes from what 'you', the gamemaster, bring.

I agree wholeheartedly Todd. I could not have said it better
