Tragically this will not not work in a browser on my tablet. That used to be my work around. Does seem to work on the computer. Used to work on my tablet. Frustrating.

Bryan Stephens

It looks like the shared URL does not work, so I have to watch it inside Patreon which does not work in the app.

Nothing eats through the bond of family like money.! Thanks PDM!

OK. Opening Paetron in a Browser works. Strange world.

You have to dig a bit Erik Tenkar has a whole series of posts on the Gygax Estate and some of the problems. Some of them date back over three years.

Thanks for sharing your personal experiences and advice with estate planning. It's very helpful for me to hear.

Excellent video and I agree that this subject should be talked about more. My dad passed away late 2021 suddenly from COVID and we had nothing prepared. It took almost a year to get everything sorted and old debts dealt with. To this day my mom gets calls from debt collectors asking for my dad.

Had to settle a family estate that could have been a nightmare, except for an awesome Accountant and Attorney team. Also, my attitude was that it was not "my money" from the beginning. Estate planning is essential. Have a will; keep it current. Buy pre-need insurance early to cover your funeral plans. If you travel pay for body recovery insurance as well.

Make Deathbringer your executor and let him execute....

I was the executor of my parents' estate. Huge, old fashioined Will, no Trust. Total nightmare! Your advice is right on!

Steven

When we had our kids we got a will, trust, and life insurance. My 78 year old mother, however, plans to live forever because she has none of that.

When my dad passed away, the amount of stuff we had to organize or toss was pretty daunting. He was a bit of a hoarder. The only saving grace during that time was it allowed my mom to concentrate on cleaning and organizing while she grieved. I vowed I would not do that to my kids. I don’t do collectibles and I try to minimize what I own. But thanks PDM, estate planning is something no one wants to do but has to be done, like colon exams after 50.
