yep. I'm curious to see what kind of year it is for the brand. Products like the new .5 version and the VTT may find success, but I can't escape the feeling that before they land, hasbro is going to do another dumbass thing or two to piss everyone off. Again.

PDM, a perfect summary of the WOTC debacle. Stating anything else would just be echoing in agreement with all of the comments previously made by others. Hope there is something worth borrowing from the new D&D for homebrew yet we shall have to wait and see.

All signs point to this being Hasbro's make-or-break year, with everything riding on the VTT and new 5+i version. If one or both of those bomb for any reason -- a relapse of foot in mouth disease or simple consumer disinterest -- Hasbro may very well fold in the next few years and the D&D brand will be up for sale again.

I looked into ordering one but it would not have arrived in time. I taped this on Wednesday afternoon, Zoomed with Joseph Goodman Wednesday evening, edited the video on Thursday AND drove to Philly where I am appearing at the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo.
