What is the Glory Bros Patreon? (Patreon)

Some of you might remember a post I made a couple months ago about my (NSFW) content vs (SFW) content. Well after many discussions, I decided to share a new Patreon 50/50 with my best friend of 20+ years who's done all the sound and music for my animations since 2006. Besides crude humor, the content on this new Glory Bros Patreon will be suitable for most audiences. It'll focus mainly on music, animations and stuff we find hilarious. So if you like my work here but aren't really a fan of the erotic content, this new Patreon might be more your speed. Plus, it's helping out my friend who's helped me so much with Akumi projects.

What does that mean currently for the Miltonius Arts Patreon? It means we can go as extreme as we want making content not suitable for anyone! Haha but you know what I mean. We can make some dirty, adult, pornographic content here without reprisal. We now have the yen to our yang.

I still remember when they were the Ninja bros but does that mean all the Akumi related content will be exclusively on the glory bros patreon

Nope, Akumi will still appear here too. But here we can still do naughty content for the Akumiverse which won't be available on the Glory Bros.

Just out of curiosity (and possibly a future goal to aim for), how much would a 5 to 10 minute animated cartoon with sounds cost to commission from you two?

Well animation is very expensive to produce. Find any animation studio and ask them how much it'll cost to produce a 30 seconds to 1 minute animated commercial. 5-10k on the low end, 20k and up on the high end. You've got character design, backgrounds, music, sound design, editing, special effects and lot of time, there's so many facets to animation. Funny thing is, it's still cheaper than live action for the most part though. (Unless of course, you're casting friends and family who don't charge you.) You could find it for cheaper but the results will be a gamble. It's why when I did accept freelance animation work, it was almost always from animation studios who already had a budget to work with. Most independent creators can't spend that kind of money on their personal projects. I have a good friend who spent 13k on an animated 1:30 music video, it turned out okay. Short answer, at least for now, we're not accepting freelance work unless the pay was too ridiculous to pass up.

Thanks for the price quotes. It sounds like it might be better to get sprite animations and then take care of any kind of necessary scenes with the game engine itself. This could potentially be something to aim for if my Patreon ever got to the $5k+ range, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. x] Thanks again!

I hear yah and no problem! It's been hard to get myself into the mode to do full episodes again knowing the workload that'll entail. But once I get into a rhythm, the work will be a lot but won't feel like it. That's the difference between passionate work and have to pay the bills work...
