After letting things settle in for a few days we sat down to discuss our thoughts and conclusions about the first HaH 2 gun match.

So, instead of a discussion about a particular stage, this is a overall discussion of the event as a whole.

Hey guys, I am a 3gun guy. Honestly, I could take or leave the shotgun, although sometimes it's really fun, but 2gun is not really available in my area. I don't normally comment, but I want to register an opinion. I think easy close-up paper is actually a good thing if not used to excess, even with the rifle. If it's super easy, you should do it even faster, because in a practical scenario that's what is going to happen. The fastest acceptably accurate shot is going to win. This is another thing that competition equalizes and sometimes even makes challenging because if it's easy for all of us, our competitors are going to go faster too. I see a good bit of FTNs on close up paper because people rush through it or don't give it the proper amount of attention, so really it's just a different kind of challenge. It also provides distractions from the more challenging shooting that you want to focus on. So I don't write this to argue. I just want to give you and others something to think about on the subject.
