InRange cancels its AdSense account (Patreon)

We have a few demonetization videos and updates coming this month, and this is the first one.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being the reason InRangeTV can exist in this caustic environment.

Thank you for supporting content creators you like and believe in.

If you want to support InRangeTV, please consider doing so via Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/InRangeTV You can also send support directly via PayPal here: info@inrange.tv In the continuing effort to do the right thing and restore the viewer back into the true powerseat of being the actual customer, we've decided to double down on our proactive demonetization endeavor by just disabling the InRangeTV AdSense account entirely. Once again, you, the viewer, is who the real customer should be and the only way to ensure that is the case is for you to be the people who either support it (or not). Thank you!

I'm applying for a job @ Patreon, and I've talked in interviews about how the direct patron-creator relationship is so much better than the consumer-distributor-advertiser-creator mess.

Whatever setting makes Youtube suggest videos for kids including but not limited to pandas and unicorns, please don't change it.

Excellent. I have a question. Since InRange TV and Forgotten Weapons are both demonetized on YouTube and we support you via Patreon the only viewer count supported monetized content seems to be Full30. I for one try to watch and like Full30 content rather than YouTube. Is that a correct assumption I'm making? I want to do everything I can to support you and Ian.

They have said that they would like to demonetize on Full30 as well but they don't have a choice. As such, it does support them but they would rather it didn't. It's sort of an odd situation.

InRange TV

Forgotten Weapons is not demonetized like InRange is. That seems to be a common misconception. We have an in depth update video that will post Friday and Ian does tackle that topic directly. ~Karl

Unless there is a statement to be made, or unless it will help you gain viewers, I'm not sure what the harm is in trying to collect monetary rewards from AdSense on youtube.
