At this moment, this is an experiment, but I want to put this out there for input from the audience.

I started trying to use BitChute way early in their development cycle but then ran into some issues.  I've decided to relaunch that effort and, as of now, it appears to be working very well.

Please test out our channel there and let me know how things go?

BitChute, btw, is a potential game changer in regards to the distribution of video on the internet - it could break the oligarchy of CDNs by being a peer to peer based system.

In other words, truly not centralized!

Anyways, please check it out and let me know how things go?

As a p2p based site is there an option to host copies of the content you watch out is that handled automatically in the background?

kenneth baer [ khudoc]

Crazy haven't been able to watch Aug Q&A on patreon bu t can on bitchute. Bitchute seems to work ok.

Steve Voege

Looks and works just fine!

Billy Kelley Jr.

Seems interesting, the main thing for me is the simplicity of the YouTube app, I would use full30 more often if they had an app since all of my viewing is through my phone.

Sidney Reilley

I'll try it, but I'm still flurried from watching Ian fill the holy grail of AKs with mud then break the stock!

Bill Smithem

Seems to work just fine, but the video quality isn't great. Very blurry.

Jasper Welsch

Didn't work on my Android phone. Numbers changed at the bottom like it was downloading but never played. I either watch on my phone or YouTube on the TV, so not much use to me.

Timothy S Hennessey

Video quality is good for me, not great but good. Anything that gets us weaned off of the Google oligarchy while still using their services I'm for. Update: Watched the entire new mud test video with no issues as far as lag or stuttering.

Corey Allhands

That must be your connection/bandwidth. It looks fine here.

Zach Burke

Seems like it's working fine for me!

InRange TV

We don't post the videos on Patreon? I'm a little confused by this statement. ~K

GunnerFreeman

I was able to watch on my android phone using firefox, I have chrome disabled so can't test that.

GunnerFreeman

if you are looking for server space to mirror the content to improve the stream quality, I have some. I'll accept payment in the form of getting to see inrangeTV content early. :)

Bill Smithem

Current download speed is 53.1 Mbps - don't think it's bandwidth, at least not the last leg.

Bill Smithem

While I applaud the search for alternative ways to distribute content, I watch almost exclusively on a big screen TV via Roku, so if there isn't a Roku channel available it will make the videos less accessible. And no, while I love the channel, I'm not building another computer for the TV just to watch InRange. :)

Frank Baud

Sounds like a cool project. I just tested it with Firefox on Android and it worked well. Good audio and video with no stuttering.

Bruce Stein

Worked fine on my windows 10 desktop.

Nick Champlin

Works, but quality not as good as youtube. I will watch on bitChute. I like the idea.

Libor Maly

Works great. Keep on rolling videos there

Mikael V.

how do they assure content is online if it's true peer to peer?

Tobasco da Gama

I'm afraid that the end of net neutrality means that decentralised video streaming is never going to compete with CDN-backed services. But I'll be looking into BitChute anyway. This is the first I've heard of it.

PL

Will it work on phone like youtube does while I'm sitting on the bog squeezing one out? If so I'm all for it. Do some of my best viewing on the throne

Paul Herbert Varga

It worked Great! BitChute may be the way to go Down with the Google oligarchy

Gary A

Just signed up and watched the Henry video seems to work just fine Thanks Karl

Joey

Doesn't currently work with the Brave browser (which I've recently switched to). Works in Firefox, though.

Donald Davis

The "Mud Test" vid ran well on Mac/Safari combination. It would not play full screen view mode, the only fault.

RCK

works fine on Safari 10.1.2 using ghostery

Andrew Browning

Just found you guys on bitchute yesterday... what an awesome platform. Works great in waterfox 54.0.1

Bruce Brodnax

Working fine in Chrome [which I only use because it supports video streams so well.] Acid test will be in Firefox [the dain-bramaged unsupported version they have here @ work with my flash-block extension loaded; for some reason it borks Youtube videos like nothing else I've ever seen.] Aaannnnd... it appears to be working fine! I'm giving Bitchute a preliminary 2-thumbs up, based upon its displayed ability to even *play* video via my Firefox implementation at work, let alone playing & buffering it as smoothly as it does. Well done, Karl!

Terry Buchholz

I had no problems with video lag but the quality was terrible in full screen, and just slightly better in smaller window at beginning. It's an alternate platform that works; if they'll just work on quality. Thanks.

Scott MacKenzie

Works good, resolution sucks on large screen

InRange TV

This is the problem with P2P and decentralization. I don't know that the viewer base will accept anything that's not "as good as" YouTube. ~K

Marty

First impressions are good. My only concern is in looking around the site for other content too. The search bar on the site seems to default to my search engine, and then searches the whole web. I'm not sure how I can do this wrong. This makes it hard to find things. If I didn't have a direct link for InRangeTV, I'm not sure I'd find you there.

Gordo

Worked okay in Firefox 55 on Windows. Quality was alright in a window but sucked in full-screen. I had a single lag during the video but that happens sometimes with YouTube as well. The volume control was a little fiddly - when I adjusted the slider, it would also pause the video .

100radsbar

Just signed up on the bitchute channel, will check it out :)

Adam Jacob

Worked fine with Firefox 55 on MacOS 10.12 both in the window and full screen even through the VPN.

mikegwf

Worked fine in Firefox. The fullscreen view was lower resolution, like others have commented. Do you plan to make BitChute the primary distribution method, or just a non-censored backup?

L Bruce Finn

Worked fine with Safari with iPad via public WiFi over VPN.

kenneth baer [ khudoc]

Sorry that's what I get for typing when I'm tired. What I meant to say was, I wasn't able to watch Aug. Q&A on FULL 30.

Tigger

Seems to work. Better than FULL30's video quality.
