I feel like Josh is trying to be neutral, help Howie calm down, and not betray Sooch's trust all at the same time. It's not an easy dance, but (imho) he's doing it pretty well.

That’s true! He wasn’t really trying to say “I don’t know what he said”, but rather “I don’t know what I’m allowed to say”. But yes either he could have said it in a better way lol

Grammar is a thing 😂😂😂😂 Savage. Although, let’s all remember that our boy has had *0* sleep, is tired and frustrated, and is possibly more blunt and ‘over it’ than usual lol. He probably doesn’t have the energy to be polite about corrections, especially if he feels like maybe she didn’t spend much time on the paper while he’s been killing himself to do well. (Alright now that I’ve gone way too in depth with this, I’ll see myself out 😂 Loved the panels as usual!! 🥰)

I always loved your art, but every panel I'm even more in love. Their expressions are always so ON POINT. As usual I can't wait for the next update 🥰 I really like what Josh did here, I think after their talk, Sooch was willing to open up to Howie, especially after Howie's reaction to Josh finding out about them. So Josh deciding not to tell Howie is on character for Josh and we love him for it. Howie is 100% being anxious about it lol but I'm looking foward for their next big talk aaaaaa this story, so good

Honestly, I would be insulted if I were sooch. He put effort into her paper so she can improve, and she just said his was good. Like, even if she doesn't like his constructive criticism, he helped her, and she did nothing in return.

I had to do this in my English class, but I had to do everyone's since I was the only one in that class that was in advanced writing. It was so fun ripping into the classmates I hated! I've lost my touch with writing though. It's been 6 years since I've last wrote a little story. I miss it haha

I was very much like Sooch when peer editing papers in school... 😅 And I love seeing that Sooch is continuing to excel at writing. I'm thinking English teacher is his calling. Just can't see him being happy as a journalist. But maybe as an editor or author on the side. 🤔
