Heyo.
To be honest, I won’t be able to hang out here often. It takes some work to access Patreon for me.

Hi everyone. New member here.

Are there full recordings here, or just excerpts?

VoiceLikeCandy Creator 1 year, 4 months ago

Hey Nate - new release recordings go to your Dropbox folder. The only full recordings I post to the Patreon page are the Flashback Fridays. Unfortunately there is too much theft from Patreon pages, so I don’t post my new releases on the page itself.

Project Werewulf - Hey Candy! It was fun hearing your voice as the main character in this game. Hope you get the chance to do more. For anyone interested, you can find this game on Steam. Note the spelling.

Thanks Robert! Had so much fun with this game, and yes there is more coming! Did you know I had Daddy voice Dr Gediman? :)

Candy, I thought I saw a link to an audible book where you did voice work. but now that I have this month’s credit I can’t find the link. Am I just remembering something about you from my wet dream? I could have sworn there was a link to audible books you voiced?

Hi Tim, yes I narrated quite a few short erotica stories on Audible many moons ago… this link should filter them for you: https://www.audible.com/search?crid=b7223c8673ef461d977baf39bf9d4959&i=na-audible-us&k=%22candace+young%22&keywords=%22candace+young%22&node=18573351011&ref=nb_sb_noss_2&sprefix=%22candace+young%22%2Cna-audible-us%2C720&url=search-alias%3Dna-audible-us&ref_pageloadid=not_applicable&pf_rd_p=daf0f1c8-2865-4989-87fb-15115ba5a6d2&pf_rd_r=FTW85SV6P0FJX49MS3RM&plink=abIoRxWYEjUBZADj&pageLoadId=bhNAii5wKFN1ulLM&creativeId=9648f6bf-4f29-4fb4-9489-33163c0bb63e

Do you get royalties from these?

VoiceLikeCandy Creator 8 months ago

Yes, for 7 years. I should check, some of those might be past that date by now

But it’s miniscule… I think I make like 20%

Yep, verified: As an ACX narrator, you typically make 20% of the retail price on exclusive, royalty-share deals, which equals half of the author’s 40% share, for a 7-year term. Earnings vary from near zero to thousands, depending on book popularity and sales.

needless to say I am closer to the zero end of that scale lol

Have you ever voiced any hentai?

VoiceLikeCandy Creator 7 months ago

I have voiced plenty of adult animations over the years, but not authentic Japanese hentai if that’s what you mean
