Life Update - Unfortunately, we are moving :( (Patreon)

We used to move quite often, but we've been renting this 5 bedroom house for the past 5 years and were planning to stay as long as possible. Well, as long as possible just came to a screeching halt. We got an email 3 days ago notifying us we have to vacate the premises by March 17th, although they would like us to leave by January 17 if at all humanly possible, because the overseas investors who own the house want to sell immediately. Apparently they need a fast influx of cash for a new investment.

Fuck. My. Life.We are so broke after just spending all our savings on an expensive overseas family holiday. Not to mention that they only notified us a week before Christmas! Real estate agents go on holidays here starting this Monday until January 5th, so we can't view anything during those two weeks. We've viewed a few places yesterday and today, and have 4 more booked for tomorrow and Monday, but then that's it until January.

But the worst part is that we've got 2 large dogs, and landlords here really discriminate against pets. Most listings just say "No Pets" right in the description, but those that don't commonly still will choose a family without dogs so we're fighting an uphill battle. We haven't searched for a house with dogs, as we got our dogs after living here for a year or two and thinking we'd be staying indefinitely.

So all we can do at this point is to start packing up our stuff and hope we find somewhere suitable to go. There is no flexibility or wiggle room with this situation, believe me I asked.

Packing this huge 5 bedroom house will take a lot of time and energy. Poor daddy starts his 2 week vacation from work today, and was looking forward to relaxing but not we're anything but relaxed! Wish us luck please, we're going to need it!
