small update + pony griddlehark (TLT/MLP) sketches (Patreon)

The past month I've admittedly had a pretty hard time. A lot of it came down to an increased work stress and me having no energy due to that. But Trixie, my own health, and an increased dissatisfaction with my own art has blocked me hard from finding energy and creativity to draw. Hence I don't have anything colored to show because I couldn't work on much. So all together, this month is mostly sketches, wips and process posts.

I hope you aren't too disappointed, but I'm also trying accept that with art, it's pretty normal to have phases where you're not as inspired, and to not put too much pressure on myself to put out a specific volume or kind of art (which obviously has a negative effect on inspiration and art).

The good news is that I'm feeling a steady uphill climb of my creativity and energy coming back. I've had to completely remodel my socials intake, but that plus increased meditation and movement/working out has done a lot of good to me and I'm finding my inspiration and desire to create and draw coming back.

But enough about me and this pity party!

There's the art process post for the Easter art scheduled later. But I thought I'd also show you some of the pony TLT sketches I made a while ago. I was hoping to work on them at some point , but I much prefer working on other ideas for now.The idea was basically necros = unicorns, cavaliers = pegasi, and lyctors = alicorns. In turn, Harrow only partially absorbing Gideon would give her only one wing. They're simple designs but even now I really like them 💛

I'm coming back to you this weekend for details 💛 I never really know what to say because words just aren't my love language and I always feel so awkward trying to say how I actually feel. But I really appreciate everyone who interacts in any kind of way or just enjoys my art.
