Taylor and the Chaos Gacha part 12 (Patreon)

"At least you have the technology to decontaminate the area," Claire muttered as she watched one of the scientists use a handheld device to scan one of the children that looked older than her.
"The entire concept seems stupid," Amelia complained.
"Their immune system was supposed to be a way to help people, by destroying viruses before they could infect people," the scientist explained to Amelia.
"Let's ignore the shit they were infected with, how many different species are there in the galaxy?" Amelia asked, wondering if the guy was stupid or if there was some type of cultural problem with the reality they'd been dropped into.
"I don't know," he replied a touch sarcastically, not understanding how that was relevant. "We haven't explored everything."
"Given the number of stars, you're probably looking at billions or trillions," one of the other scientists piped up, "if you mean sentient species, you're probably still in the tens of thousands, why?"
"Because there's a good chance that someone has biology that their immune systems would have attacked even without the flu screwing things up," Amelia argued.
"And then you have a bunch of dead people and a diplomatic incident," Claire added, annoyed that most of the scientists still viewed the situation as an unlucky fluke and not as a flaw in the basic concept.
"We were just trying to help," one of the other scientists argued.
'Worst part is, he believes it,' Taylor mused, wondering if lying to yourself was a skill you picked up when you spent time around telepaths.
"You have the technology to scan everyone, how the hell does the shit even spread? Just scan everyone when they dock at the airport? Landing pad?" Amelia asked, not sure what the term was in this dimension.
"They don't regulate shuttles like that," one of the scientists complained.
"Okay," Claire muttered, starting to wonder about the sanity of everyone in the future. "Let's ignore that bit of stupidity. Why not just modify a pet to have your aggressive immune system?"
"There are restrictions on genetic engineering. We already had permission to try to improve the children," one of the scientists admitted.
Claire sighed when she caught various images and thoughts from some of the scientists about how the Federation banned fixing most genetic issues because a couple of mad scientists in their history made some overly aggressive soldiers. "I'm suddenly extremely happy that I don't have to deal with your Federation."
"Does anyone want extra powers or better physical abilities?" Taylor asked the children.
"We're legally required to say no," a blonde girl replied as she nodded her head to indicate that she wanted extra abilities.
"That would be wrong," one of the male children said, unable to keep a straight face.
"You're going to make their problems worse," one of the scientists warned them.
The brown haired girl shrugged. "We're already going to be viewed with suspicion and banned from Starfleet because we're augments, we might as well pick up some more abilities."
"This isn't going to end well," one of the scientists muttered, fairly sure that the Federation would try to toss them in a box and sterilize the children.
Taylor scowled when she realized that the Federation was basically morally bankrupt when it came to genetic engineering. "If anyone asks, just blame the aliens that showed up and fixed their immune systems," she told the scientists as she used her Bequeath power to give all of the 'children' a boost to their physical abilities, taking advantage of her curse since it wouldn't let her physical stats change.
"They're going to hang us," one of the scientists grumbled.
"They haven't hanged anyone in centuries," one of the other scientists argued.
"They'll make an exception," he muttered as he flopped down in a chair.
"They deserve a chance to be happy," one of the other scientists pointed out. "Besides, I sort of want to see the genetic changes."
"Might as well," the female scientist agreed, knowing that the Federation was probably going to use the latest situation to toss them in prison and clean house, despite the fact that various admirals had signed off on the project.
"Does anyone want the ability to instantly get a detailed diagnosis of their health condition by touch?" Taylor asked, figuring that would be a good power and wouldn't cause too many issues.
"Sounds useful," one of the male children said.
"What about a weak form of Hydrokinesis?" Taylor asked.
"Water manipulation?" the blonde augment asked.
"And creation, it's useful," Taylor explained as she swapped her Shadow Hands power for her Lesser Hydrokinesis so she could give everyone the power and her Mystical Eyes of Purity for her Diagnosis ability since she'd already used it on everyone.
"Are you pulling it out of the air?" one of the scientists asked.
"You'll have to run some tests," Taylor replied, fairly sure they wouldn't believe her about the power creating the water. She used her Budding ability and looked at the options she could hand out for her Lesser Hydrokinesis ability. 'Decent range, excellent control and reasonable power, that seems to be the winner over less control and more power since the boost doesn't seem worth it.'
Taylor gave the power to the seven arguments and three of the four scientists, dropping her power to almost nothing since each gift dropped her power by ten percent. She looked at her options for the Diagnosis ability. 'Less details and ranged or full details and touch? There's probably a point in having both but I'd need to double everything up.'
"We should probably clone the children a couple of times," Claire suggested.
Taylor turned to look at Claire. "Why?"
"Why not?" Claire asked with a grin. "The Federation can sweep seven experiments under the rug, what about a hundred or a thousand?"
"We don't have room for a thousand people on the station," one of the scientists argued.
"The planet is habitable," the augment with brown hair pointed out.
The female scientist shook her head. "Barely, most of it is covered in slime, primitive organisms or rock."
"I've seen the scans, it has breathable air and water," she argued.
One of the other scientists shook his head. "We don't have the ability to replicate replicators or to deal with that many people. We're also on thin ice with the Federation because of the mess with your immune systems, we'd get in a lot of trouble if we started cloning people."
The scientist that hadn't been talking grinned when he used his new ability and created a marble sized ball of water over his hand and held it there, finding it easier to control than he would have expected. "We're already in a lot of trouble, do you honestly think they're going to believe us if we tell them that we weren't experimenting with our genetics?"
"No," he admitted. "Can we start with like twenty clones?"
"Absolutely," Taylor agreed. "Can I get a volunteer?"
All of the augments raised their hands, knowing that Claire had a point about strength in numbers and that they'd need the people to crew a ship if they wanted to be able to have a say in their future.
"Perfect." Taylor gave the dark haired girl both versions of the Diagnosis ability and a copy of her Enchanting ability. 'I'm not going to be around and that gives them the ability to make Telepath and Telekinetic items.' She stepped forward and poked the brown haired girl's hand and cloned her, creating a naked copy of the girl.
"Instant cloning," one of the scientists muttered. "I thought you meant in a lab."
"No, we're not sticking around that long and the Federation would probably try to destroy any embryos," Taylor replied as she used her Bequeath ability on the clone, giving her a boost to her physical abilities. She gave the clone a copy of her Metallurgy ability then cloned her.
"Can you give people Telepathy and Telekinesis?" one of the scientists asked.
"You'd have to ask Amelia or Claire, my ability is limited by the abilities of the person I'm giving the power to, the more you have, the more I'm able to give you," Taylor explained as she gave both Diagnosis abilities and Enchanting to the blonde augment then touched her hand and cloned her. 'That should let me boost the clone more since the powers should be hers.'
"You're broadcasting David," the blonde augment told him when she picked up his thoughts about her clone.
"Sorry," David replied, trying to keep his thoughts more contained.
"I'm not complaining," the blonde clone replied with a grin, not seeing a problem with fucking her friend now that she wasn't embarrassed about the idea of her friends sensing it.
Taylor gave the girl a version of her Metallurgy power then and used her Bequeath ability on her to boost her physical abilities and cloned her. She took a minute to make a couple of silver rings before she crippled her power.
"What are you making?" Amelia asked.
"I was thinking about making some rings that let them jump dimensions for adventure, they might find something interesting and I don't really trust the Federation from what I've picked up," Taylor explained as she used her Bequeath ability to boost the clone and gave her a copy of her Metallurgy ability. She cloned the clone, causing a slightly more muscular naked girl to appear.
"How many times can you do that?" one of the scientists asked.
"It takes some energy but not an excessive amount," Taylor explained as she started on the next clone, repeating the process with giving her the abilities so the clones would have them.
"Let me see your hand, I'll give you a check up," Claire told the first brown haired clone.
"Her cloning ability occasionally results in mutations," Amelia offered as she touched the other clone's hand and checked her biology. "Oh, nice! Her lungs got upgraded."
"And ankles?" Claire asked.
"Yep," Amelia agreed as she reached over and poked the first clone on the arm, comparing the changes. "Muscles and ligaments as well. We should probably share the changes."
Claire touched both of the clones and compared their biology. "Slightly too large of a big toe on the second clone, we should probably fix that."
"There's a difference?" the clone asked, not seeing it as she compared her feet with the original.
"Just a bit," Claire assured her. "Don't worry, we'll fix it."
"And we're the mad scientists?" one of the scientists asked, trying not to laugh at their enthusiasm.
The female scientist laughed. "You'd be doing the same if you could."
"Absolutely," he replied as he pulled out a tricorder to get some scans.
Claire glanced at the tricorder, picking up the function and general use from his thoughts. "We're going to want one of those."
"I'll replicate a couple," one of the other scientists offered as he headed to the replicator.
"And a charger and or adapter," Taylor suggested as she continued boosting and cloning the augments.

Amy blinked when Taylor and the girls went from sitting on the couch to standing next to it and holding hands. "You're back."
Congratulations, you've successfully completed the mission along with several bonus objectives. Rewards: Tinker - Robotics(III)(completing main objective), Tinker - Gravity(for completing first group mission), Living Dew(Doing the objective while naked), Call to Arms(Naked Party), Master of Arms(Unleashing a faction of sane augments on the Federation), Portal Creation(For unleashing chaos on an entire dimension by giving the augments the ability to clone themselves), Clone Split(For unleashing a couple of Biokinetics on the Federation), Psionic(For making better Changelings)
"Huh," Taylor muttered when she saw the list of rewards she'd picked up from the mission, missing Amy's question. "What?"
"How did it go?" Amy asked.
Claire let go of Taylor's hand and flopped down on the couch with a grin. "That was an exhausting couple of hours but I had a lot of fun playing mad scientist."
"Absolutely," Amelia agreed as she sat down next to Claire.
"Mad scientist? Where did you go?" Amy asked as she glanced between Taylor and her clones.
"Star Trek," Amelia replied smugly.
"Like with Captain Kirk?" Amy asked, wondering if they were playing a joke.
Claire twisted around and sprawled across Amelia's lap, looking up at Amy. "It was a bit later in the timeline and we didn't see any of the original cast but yeah."
"Combat?" Amy asked warily.
"Nope, human stupidity," Amelia grumbled as she ran her fingers over Claire's nipples. "A group of geneticists decided that they'd try to create a group of Telepathic and Telekinetic children with aggressive immune systems that attacked things outside of their bodies."
"Let me guess, they turned into zombies?" Amy asked.
"No, they just aged people to death in a couple of days because their immune systems had a weird reaction to an alien flu," Amelia grumbled. "I had to fix their immune systems then we had to wait for the scientists to actually believe their scans when we came up clean after being dropped in the room with the augmented teenagers."
"Since when do you have disease resistance?" Amy asked Taylor.
Taylor pulled her attention off the descriptions of her new powers and focused on Amy. "I'm fairly sure that particular mess falls into a twisted version of Biokinesis which is covered by my Constant trait or at least that's the best explanation I can come up with."
"What did you get for the mission?" Amy asked.
"I got a Robotics Tinker ability for completing the mission, a Gravity Tinker ability for it being my first group mission, a container of Living Dew for doing it naked and a weird somewhat random ability to temporarily call familiars for an hour with a twenty four hour cooldown for the entire group being naked."
'So much for skipping the naked part next time,' Amy mused. "That's a nice collection of tinker abilities. What is Living Dew?"
"It's a weird liquid that makes anyone that drinks it age slower and gives them a boost to vitality and healing," Taylor explained. "Unfortunately, I think it would be useless with my healing curse since it improves my healing."
"You should probably just save it," Amelia agreed.
"That's a nice collection," Amy offered. "What were you doing that counts as mad science?"
"Cloning people and modifying and upgrading organs and tweaking the genetics of everyone Taylor used her body sculpting power on," Claire explained.
"I can see where that would be useful," Amy agreed, thinking about the clones of the heroes.
"I also picked up Master of Arms for unleashing a faction of sane augments on the Federation, Portal Creation for giving some of them the ability to clone things, Clone Split for giving two of the girls a copy of Amelia's powers."
"You gave people Biokinesis?" Amy asked warily.
"They needed to be able to fix any glitches with the clones," Claire offered.
Amy glanced between Claire and Amelia. "Biokinesis is dangerous."
"There are plenty of alien species with technology to alter your genetics in Star Trek, they're not as good and they take longer but they have them," Amelia pointed out.
"Our Biokinesis is actually a lot safer," Claire argued, knowing where Amy was coming from since she could read her thoughts and because she'd spent a lot of time being scared of her power or at least she remembered Amy spending the time.
Amy rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Okay, what did you give them?"
"The version I gave them is a touch slower and it doesn't have the immunity to disease function but that's not really a big deal considering they can heal each other and they have boosted immune systems," Taylor explained.
"That's not as bad as I was thinking," Amy admitted. "I can guess for the Master of Arms ability but Clone Split? Are you making clones or splitting them?"
"Master of Arms basically gives me the equivalent of ten years of training in a weapon when I'm using it and lets me bypass locks or mystical restrictions on using any weapon. The Clone Split lets me temporarily split myself but it basically halves my physical stats each time."
"That means she can make enough Taylors for all three of us," Amelia teased as she continued to play with Claire's nipples.
"Did you pick up anything else?" Amy asked.
Taylor shrugged. "Just a Psychic Trait that improves my ability to use and learn to use mental abilities and Clairvoyance for stepping foot on an alien world when I walked outside to look at the sky."
"What did you get the Psychic trait for?" Amy asked, getting the feeling that she'd skipped that part intentionally.
"For making better changelings," Taylor admitted. "I copied my familiar's Transform ability so I could give some of the clones the ability to heal and copies of Claire's shield. I sort of got carried away and gave them the transformation ability."
Claire snickered. "She also summoned a couple of fire creatures to steal Pyrokinesis and a couple of fire themed abilities. The scientists are probably going a bit crazy running tests on their abilities."
"Good," Amelia grumbled, still a bit annoyed at the scientists for fucking up their immune systems so badly.
"That reminds me, I should check that." Taylor focused on her Budding ability and reclaimed all of the abilities she'd given to the augments and their clones since they were ready to harvest.
Telepathy and Telekinesis acquired!
Empathy and Telekinesis acquired!
Transform acquired!
Sparkle Shield acquired!
Biokinesis acquired!
Greater Cure Wounds (Ranged) Acquired!
Pyrokinesis acquired!
Flame Teleport acquired!
Ever Burning Flame acquired!
"Anything good?" Amy asked when she realized that Taylor was reading a list.
"Before we get into that, you should use your Clone Split ability," Claire cut in. "I just spent the last couple of hours dealing with a bunch of horny clones while I was trying to figure out how to use my Telepathy, I'm fucking horny, fuck me."
Amelia snickered. "She has a point, or two, we can cover the details later."
"Sure," Amy agreed, figuring it would take a bit of time to get the full story out of her clones.
Taylor swapped her Shadow Hands ability for her Clone Split ability and used it, creating a temporary version of herself and causing her a moment of vertigo as she found herself in two places at once before the weirdness went away.
Feat achieved! Be in two places at once!
+1x Silver Random Gacha ticket
Taylor tapped the card, causing it to flip and reveal a picture of several sets of eyes of different types of creatures. "And I just picked up Varied Vision for being in two places at once."
"That's completely unfair, you know that, right?" Amy asked, relieved that Taylor hadn't decided to be a villain with her abilities.
"Yeah," Taylor agreed.
"What does it do?" Claire asked.
"It lets you swap between Thermal, Infrared and Night Vision at will without impairing your regular vision," Taylor replied, figuring it would come in useful, especially if she put it on a magical item so that she didn't need a slot.
"Worry about making rings later," Amelia told her. "Do you want to fuck on the couch or in your room?".
"Couch," Taylor replied, figuring she might get something for it and trusting her Telepathy to warn her if anyone showed up.
