In part 2 we will be picking up and moving on to exporting our model from Moi3D and converting the CAD model to FBX. I will discuss some of the considerations to take for easier grouping and splitting of our asset inside of Houdini using Moi3d styles and Houdini OdTools.

After that I will talk about the export process and how we can quickly sculpt out some of the details for our PCB solder using Zbrush and how we can remesh the base geometry using Zremesher. In the end I will quickly boolean the solder and export it to Houdini to apply a few of my preset shaders quickly and test the surface shading.

Next month we will continue where we left off and begin preparing the objects UVs and shaders to improve the look of our surface along with adding the branding decals and details to take our models materials to the next level. Thanks again for all the support on Patreon, have a wonderful day!
