Hey everyone! In this next this next set of tutorials I will be continuing where we left off with our previous parts. These will be available December 5th for Patrons.

In the next steps I will be moving on to remeshing some of the Moi3D pieces using Exoside Remesher inside of Houdini using the SideFX Labs nodes. After that I will discuss asset prep, and export for the powerful UV tool RizomUV.

RizomUV is an amazing feature rich to tool for UV mapping. It has a lot of options and can seem a bit daunting at first, but I go over the tools I use most of the time and how you can easily pack, unwrap automatically, or manually along with UDIMs. After that I will explain the export process for both our model and some image formats of our UV islands to use as guides for Photoshop texture painting of our UVs.

In the final part I will import our Photoshop opacity masks and bump map used for our material shading with Houdini and Redshift to take our base materials to another level. Thanks again for all the support on Patreon!

When I first read about the Rasperry Pi project coming up I was kind of „meh“. But hell, have I been wrong. This - let me call it Mini Series - is absolutely amazing, covering so many topics and apps with an workflow literally applicable every day… its just amazing! Thanks!

Hey Markus, glad you like it! This project was indeed out of the usual "environment" work, but fun to do as it covers a lot of different tools/workflows that can apply to many different projects. I think many other Patrons will learn a lot from these too.
