Hey guys, this is part 3 of Raspberry Pi project based series. I am picking up right where we left off and will be moving on to preparing our asset for the UV stage of the project.

I will be using the very easy to use Exoside Remesher alongside the SideFX Labs nodes. This is an excellent inexpensive quad remeshing utility that generates great results quickly. I will cover the parameters and how to use it. After that I will remesh some of the different parts of our Moi3D model using it and explain some important things to keep in mind. After that I will go over the export process to RizomUV.

RizomUV is a very powerful tool dedicated to the UV process. It has many different options and features. From automatic/manual seam cutting, uv packing, unfolding, UDIMs, selections and much more. It is can be a bit daunting with how many features it has, but once you learn the general workflows it quickly becomes an invaluable tool for UVing. Head on over to part 4 where I will be discussing the final stages of this project. Thanks again for all the support, and have a great day!

Here are links to both tools, they offer perpetual licenses for relatively inexpensive prices. I highly recommend them.

Hey Saul, great tutorial series! Although I'd like to learn more about the way you took one single piece to remesh and then instanced it all around the PCB (I believe you didn't place each of them by hand?). It's on ~28min of the video. Thanks.
