Halloween Kills - Many people didn't like the fact that Michael and Laurie never interact in this film. I disagree. I believe this was intentional to further solidify the fact that Laurie is not Michael's target. His goal has always been to get home. In the og, he goes straight home from the hospital. He sets his sights on Laurie only after she came by with Tommy, and his motivation was due to the reminders of his sister, Judith, and her choice to hookup with her boyfriend instead of babysitting him. In the first flashback in this film, we even see him heading back home after the events of the og, further confirming the idea that he only wants to go home. Do you think this was a good choice or do you think there was a way to solidify it while still having a scene with them together?

The flashback to how Michael was captured and arrested felt very much like a deleted scene or an alternate ending to the original film especially the brief performance of this look-alike actor to Dr Loomis felt as if it was actually him would you guys like to see another interpretation of an actor who has passed and having a look alike perform in the same ways at the original actor did

Halloween Kills: This movie is a fun mess, I have fun with all the Michael Myers stuff, but anything outside of that I just don’t like, im curious if y’all agree. But a way I think to make this movie better is do to the drinking game where u take a shot every time someone says evil dies tonight.

Halloween Kills 2nd question - Michael is significantly more brutal in this film. Do you have a "favorite" or most memorable kill from this one? Personally, I loved Vanessa's, lol. Fun facts: The masks of the kids in the park (the ones Michael puts on the dead bodies of Marion, Vanessa, and Marcus) are from the Silver Shamrock, the evil company from the 3rd film, Season of the Witch. And, in case you haven't already been told, Lindsey Wallace, Marion Chambers, and Sheriff Brackett are all played by the same actors from the og.

In the original Halloween, he only kills a handful of people, but now he’s practically immortal and wipes out entire groups. I’m not sure why they felt the need to make that change. #EvilDiesTonight

john and andrew—maybe this question feels reductive, but i have to ask (i’ve waited seasons to ask)—do either of you like quinn? after his character arcs in season 3 and 4, and what he’s up to now with kyle butler, what do we think? he’s not the first colleague to sniff around dexter, but personally i found doakes so much more likable (weird, maybe, but i did).

Halloween Kills: Many people didn't like Halloween Kills for a variety of reasons. There are some frustrating plot points, but I liked it. Michael's living his fantasy in this one, collecting bodies. Werk! This installment also brings back lots of characters from Halloween 1978 including Tommy... Lots of people don't like Tommy in this movie and were not upset when Michael kills him. What were your thoughts on Tommy and his incitement of the town's hysteria?

Halloween Kills: Hi Tara & Roxy! Sending you love from all the way from the Caribbean in Grenada!🇬🇩❤️ Your reactions bring me so much joy and Horror Thursday is even better when I see you both :) and I still chuckle at Tara's reaction to Chucky coming alive by the fire place in Child's Play 1 to this day😂 Do you think Halloween Kills would’ve hit harder if the film focused more on Laurie’s recovery and trauma rather than the mob storyline? Also, what’s one scene you’d have changed or extended if you could re-edit the movie yourself? Also wanted to share a couple fun facts I thought were cool! 1. Many of the actors who played the mob members in the movie were actually locals from the North Carolina town where the movie was filmed — so those chaotic crowd scenes were packed with real residents! 2. The hospital set wasn’t real at all — it was built entirely from scratch, with every detail recreated to mirror the look and feel of Halloween II (1981) for that perfect nostalgic touch. Love you both and hope you have a great day! P.S. Don't forget to clap your hands!😂

Especially the apocalypse trilogy: the thing, in the mouth of madness especially since its getting its 4k release this month, and than prince of darkness carpenter and pleasance last time filming together. Halloween Kills - for me this movie is always going to be "This could have been an email" . with this being the "third" film in the timeline [Halloween 1978, Halloween 2018 and now this], Michael only killed 4 people in the original Halloween film (That main night). Do you agree with the town being haunted by him for 40 years and forming a mob to get rid of him? I feel like their anger toward him is valid if Halloween II - H20 was cannon in this timeline.

Helluva boss: In the episode mastermind you can see the brb sign with a little duck on lucifers throne. By the time this episode came out helluva wasnt part of the amazon deal yet so the shows coudnt crossover but now they can. So my question is how do you guys think a meeting between Charlie and Blitz would play out?

Re: Dexter; Welcome to my absolute favorite season (I’ve now completed the whole show + 2 of 3 spinoffs) Season 4 is most folks favorite season but season 5 hits me deep inside and has some of the best lines and writing imo. As an autistic person I relate to dexter deeply (minus the murder ofc) and there is so much in s5 that connects to me. It’s heavy and it can be a tough watch at times but I hope it connects with you. I want to know ALL THE THOUGHTS!

Dexter! I cant believe I missed the season 4 finale I'm so sadd, I've been busy dealing with my brothers wedding (which turned out great!) For the question, what do you think of Dexter's mentality after Ritas death? Quinn seems to find his behavior suspicious but retreating into yourself, bottling up emotions, burying yourself into work after trauma like that is a very common coping mechanism. Not a particularly healthy one, as it can lead to outburst of anger and aggression (like dexter had, killing the guy in the bathroom, completely disregarding his code), but still its really common, and I think its another thing that shows his humanity. Glad you guys are continuing this! <3

How do you think dexters behavior may differ or change this season after the events of s4 finale? Dexter: Hi John and Andrew, it's great that you guys are loving this series as I do. You can understand from the consequences of his decisions, why season 4 is not my favorite. I'd rate the original seasons 2, 1, 3, 5, 4, 6, 7, 8, but I still love them all. Q: What do you think of how Dexter is handling Rita's death compared to everyone else? Also what do you think of Quinn and Deb sleeping together? PS: I also love the movie Swordfish.

Roxy & Tara my favorite Scream Queens did you know Evil Dies Tonight??? I remember being so excited to watch this after Blumhouse crushed the first of this trilogy. Unfortunately this is a middle of the road movie in the franchise for me. I think they nailed the mob mentality and Big John and Little John are hilarious and they have some awesome kill scenes like the scene with the firefighters was badass its but the movie falls short. Whats your favorite kill scene and how do you feel about this as a follow up. ?

Halloween Kills: Many of the original actors from the first movie returns except for the original actor of Tommy Doyle. Nurse Marion already appeared in H1978, H2 1981, and H20 & was also killed in that timeline. Do yall think this movie was the proper reunion for these legacy actors and their characters?

Halloween Kills Funfact: James Jude Courtney returns for the role of "old" Michael Myers alongside the original actor Nick Castle ( for couple small shots) continuing on from 2018. This sets the mark alongside George P Wilbur (H4 and H6 RIP), Tyler Maine (Both remakes) as one of the most recurring Michael actors. Plus this is the addition of Airon Armstrong as the younger 1978 Michael who is arrested. Do y'all think the creative team replicated the OG 1978 feel during the flashbacks?

Halloween Kills: What are both of y'alls predictions for the next sequel & your expectations as the last of this new trilogy? Ps. I hate when the townsfolk hit Michael ONE AT A TIME. Like seriously some of the character's actions & dialogue made me cringe in the theater.

(Not a question) I am SO relieved to see Dexter Season 5 on here!! I'm still trying to finish up season two and what has been causing me to wait so long to continue is I was waiting for this green light! John and Andrew had said several times throughout the S2 reaction that "They hope they will watch past S4" so that caused me some internal doubts of if it was worth continuing the reactions if you were only going as far as S4 and if I should just jump into S4 instead because it's my favourite season and now I no longer have those doubts so I will stop hesitating and can now push forward confidently and continue to enjoy the Dexter watch alongs! Thanks for continuing the series! 🥰❤️❤️
