The Long Walk WATCH ALONG!!

Comments

Adrian Wayne

I loved the movie but not the finale. Pete made a 180 in the end, leaving behind everything he was believing in, for his new friend. A friend, who just sacrificed himself for you and your believes!

Ahhh, another excuse to watch this movie

Silent Hill (2006) pls

Finally! There are quite a few changes from the book. There is no revenge plot in the book and the other person wins where it’s an even darker ending. He doesn’t realize he has won and he sees a figure ahead of him who he believes is another contestant where he doesn’t stop walking. He even starts to run. The character who wins in the movie does just does sit down and finishes 3rd in the book right at the end. It is the same final 3. I prefer the book ending which is crushing. Ray questions his masculinity in the book and isn’t sure if Pete is sexually attracted to him where Pete hints at it in the book. Ray did not break up with his girlfriend prior to it starting and constantly thinks about her.

YAS, I love this movie. I love the novel.

Cody Price

I did not take the ending of the film whether he lives or dies. I took the ending that does not matter whether he lives or dies he is going to suffer through that experience that he will be haunted by the long walk forever. In a sence stuck on that long walk forever.

Hoffman was in Licorice Pizza with PTA....no surprise he killed it in this

I read this story many many years ago, but I still have the paperback. I thought this was a great adaptation. I’m conflicted about the ending, it’s different from the book. But I like it better. Stephen King himself has always been open about sometimes not ending his stories well, maybe he liked this ending too. (Shrug) in any case it was a great movie, better when considered on its own merit. Great reaction video. Thanks guys.

Jesus! I felt like I was watching squid game, reel rejects.

TheADHDOverlord

I started the Full Watch-Along, but after 10 minutes I realized that I couldn't properly distinguish the movie from the reaction.... and this is a Movie that DESERVES the attention (fyi, 100% gonna rewatch with the watch along basically immediately afterwards... need the emotional support lol 😭)

TheADHDOverlord

there are soooo many potential tearjerking moments.... i swear they put a different type of Cry in for Everyone to react to. The one that Got me... when Judy. f'n. Greer. makes her reappearance... her terror.... "It's Okay. It's Okay!" 😭😭😭😭😭...

DeAndre

nonstop crying that last half of the film

Christian Seibold

Started watching this thinking it was gonna be great. Ended up throwing up about 30-35 minutes in... so that was fun.

Dakota Jones
