john and greg—so much debate about The Kiss! some viewers felt frustrated that peneople would ask this (beg, they said). others loved it for its cgentleness and the way pen finally asked for what she wanted. curious how you two felt about not only the kiss itself (and colin’s response to it) but also about the asking itself.

Lords G & J!- This season, Eloise tells Colin she is reading "Emma", Jane Austen's last published work (1817). If you view Western Lit chronologically, you'll find female characters in Homer, Dante and Shakespeare, but no women authors until Austen. Modern writers (like Shonda R) revisit the Regency era, because it embodies the 1st true female voice in popular culture. Q?: Does Bridgerton now tweak your interest to watch the OG (Austen)? (Fun fact: Like Penelope, Austen had to publish anonomouslly under a psedenym. Despite being the 1st popular female author in history, Austen never received named recognition until after her death.)

BRIDGERTON 3x2 (Greg & John) - Question what Reject would look best in powered wig there.

Morning, hopefully not a dumb question, but just wanted to clarify that episode 2 wasn't in fact filmed with ep 1 a few days ago? I had added an ep 2 question on the previous post when the edit announcement came in, but I'm completely aware that things are constantly changing from minute to minute. Just wanted to check. Thanks.

Random clarification for G & J - FYI, all Bridge books are fully white/straight, even background characters. So any diversity you see is a Shonda thing.

Awesome, thank you! Question (3x02): How about that kiss? Little over two seasons in the making. Colin character question: A few scenes of Colin being this huge flirt/rake type were actually reshoot additions (the wink at ladies during the presentation, a few extra snippets of his flirting montage ep 1, him at the brothel). Shonda wanted much of this added to actually show him being this changed man instead of just being all talk. Does it work for you, or how might your opinion have been different if we didn't get all those moments?

At what point in this episode do you think Colin finally realized he has feelings for Penelope? A lot of people say it was because of the kiss, but I personally think it started creeping in when they were talking about their childhood in the market. Then, I think once she bandaged his hand he realized there was something there. And finally, everything was cemented after the kiss. What’s your opinion?
