I like this movie, im tired of the dark world slander. It may not be a 10/10 but its still very fun and gripping. the action is great in this movie, way better than thors action scenes in avengers and the first movie

Even though I defend this movie against its haters, I still see the flaws of the movie. I really appreciate the love you show for and the credit you give Tom Hiddleston, especially in this movie. I agree that he is the best part of TDW and just like you said, as soon as Loki "died" the rest of the movie was way less interesting.

This movie had such great potential to be so meh. There were good action scenes and Loki's character development was great, but there were too many flaws. Malekith sucks at the main villain- no development, just be evil to carry the plot. Adewale Akkinoye-Agbaje was wasted as Kurse- such a great actor and all they gave him to do was Hulk smash until Thor managed to kill him. And maybe this is because I'm also watching your Despicable reactions, but to me, when Malekith et al spoke the elvish language, they sounded less like threatening foes and more like big-ass Minions.

I get your confusion about how Loki could fake his death, because he really got stabbed. One explanation is that they didn't think of that, because Loki was supposed to really die in this movie. They only added the scene on the throne after test screenings, where people wouldn't accept his death. Another aspect is that Loki has healing powers, that aren't really mentioned in the movies.
