We are hitting the Patreon airwaves to dissect the ultimate masterpiece of cinematic underdogs and pelvic contortions: Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. From the raw, unadulterated wisdom of Patches O'Houlihan and the agonizing puzzle of avoiding a flying wrench, to Peter La Fleur staring down the corporate, spandex-clad menace of Globo Gym, Rawson Marshall Thurber and Ben Stiller delivered a story about human resilience—and a lot of leather to the face to survive by. We’re breaking down our absolute favorite bits, the legendary five rules of dodgeball that actually make sense (dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge), and the nail-biting sudden-death sequence that still has us holding our breath over two decades later. It’s dumber, grander, and beautifully uplifting. Hit that play button and brace yourselves for the ultimate celebration of average-joe ingenuity! 🤾‍♂️🔧🏆

If you want to watch another comedy about a childhood game, I highly recommend watching Tag. The film is hysterical and some of the stunts are incredible. Jeremy Renner actually broke his Elbow and wrist while doing some of his own stunts for the film. Great cast as well: Ed Helms, Jake Johnson, Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner, Hannibal Burress, Annabelle Wallis, Isla Fisher, and Rashida Jones. Also, this film is actually inspired loosely by an actual events.
