It’s time to head out to Higgins Haven for the monumental chapter where Jason Voorhees finally puts on his iconic hockey mask! Jackie and Paige are along for the ride as the cheesy 80s 3D gags meet some of the most hilariously gruesome kills in slasher history. Grab your favorite snacks, settle in with the girls, and let’s see who survives a weekend at the lake.

Yes! This is my favorite one of the franchise. Love the cheesy 80's 3D, and the equally cheesy title song!

Glad to see Jackie and Paige on this iconic journey. This is the pinnacle edition that most of what the memes legends and ideas of Jason were shaped. Its 80s style 3rd movies is 3D is also a trope for the day. What did you ladies like better, Mrs Vorhees, Bag Head Jason or Iconic Hockey Mask Jason? Slash on ladies!

Just heard Jackie say that The Shining came after. The Shining came out in 1980. This film was released 1982.

The continuity of 2, 3 and 4 is interesting. It was just happenstance that the end of 2 leads into the beginning of 3. Then Part 3 into Part 4. Canonically those 3 movies took place in less than a week. Funny enough, 2 - 4 did not take place on a "Friday the 13th". lol

You gals definitely need to watch the 4th one!

BTW it's pretty funny Jackie and Paige had no idea the movie was in 3D. lol I know ya'll usually watch the movies streaming. But DVD and BluRay releases have the Red and Blue 3D Tint option. They could've watched the movie a little closer to the intended version. :-)

Are we still getting The Grudge reaction that was filmed ages ago?

Yeah, the ladies didn't realize that in the early 80s, horror films were trying to revive the 3D movie genre from the 50s and 60s with movies like: Friday the 13th Part 3, Amityville Horror 3 and Jaws 3. This movie has a special place in my heart because at the age of 6 I saw the display at the movie theater for Friday the 13th Part 3 and thought it was so cool. It was a 3D display and the blood light up red to indicate it was dripping. From then on, I became a horror fan.
