After taking the modern alternate route through the David Gordon Green trilogy straight from the 1978 classic, Jackie and Jon are officially winding the clock back to explore the original franchise timeline! They're stepping right into the bloody direct continuation of that fateful night as Michael Myers stalks the dark halls of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital to finish what he started with Laurie Strode. Grab your snacks and settle in as the duo dives into the 1981 sequel that introduced classic slasher brutality, the infamous sibling twist, and an all-time unhinged Dr. Loomis performance.

I am in the group who loves this timeline, I think this movie is such a good continuation... You need to erase the newer ones from your head. The hospital is empty because its a small town clinic, not some city hospital. No need for a security crew. Notice everyone on staff knows everyone in town. This is the growth from scream queen to true final girl. I do not like the modern 2 endings. Glad you guys are watching this.

Timeline Breakdown: Original/Thorn Timeline: Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers. H20 Timeline: Halloween, Halloween II, H20*, Halloween Resurrection HallowGreen Timeline: Halloween, Halloween ‘18, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends RZ Halloween Timeline: Halloween (2007), Halloween II (2009) The Anthology “Timeline” (Carpenter’s Original Plan): Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III: Season of the Witch *H20, which someone compared to Scream/Scary Movie gets that reputation from some because it was, in part, written by Kevin Williamson, the writer of Scream, and is definitely chasing some of that snark given that it came out in 1998

They said something that matters, this movie is and was actually scary. It’s creepy and suspenseful. It’s a horror film. Kills and Ends simply aren’t scary, they’re just…. Depressing. 2018 was so so, but it was ridiculously bloated. Too many characters and just annoying story arcs. We didn’t need the podcasters or Dr Sartain. It would have been more entertaining to focus on Laurie’s family and Allison’s friends. Vicki and Julian were my favorite characters. H20 Laurie was better and more realistic (that’s all I’ll say so I’m not spoiling).

A few fun facts.....Dick Warlock who played Michael Myers also played the deputy who crashed into Ben Tramer. The Boy who had the boombox that bumped into Michael is also Warlock's actual son. Jimmy Survives! In an alter ending, Jimmy sits up in the back of the ambulance that Laurie is in.
