I liked Jake's Mysterio. HUGE consequences for him and Peter's identity. What did you guys think?

I mean he’s wearing a iron suit that was clearly made by Tony why wouldn’t the public think he would take his place

There was a LOT of time between Homecoming and FFH and Tony saw Peter like a son, Peter is the entire reason Tony even did the time heist, I don’t see why he wouldn’t trust him with Edith, Tony wanted Peter to be better than him

I agree that Peter giving Mysterio the glasses was the height of irresponsibility. It was also in character- throughout his MCU journey, Tom Holland's Peter Parker makes some dumbass decisions. In Homecoming he was ready to quit school and be a full-time Avenger if Tony had asked him. He then didn't call Tony about the freighter- he jumped in, almost got a lot of people killed and ruined a months-long FBI stakeout. He one-upped it here by giving away Tony's legacy instead of just putting E.D.I.T.H. away until he was older and ready for the responsibility. And we all know he one-upped even this dumbassery with what he did in No Way Home. Granted Dr. Strange aided and abetted, but it started with the latest of a series of monumentally stupid decisions. And that is so normal for a teenager- the brain isn't fully functional yet and hormones are running rampant. It's frustrating to watch but I enjoy this aspect of Peter trying to juggle being Spiderman with a normal life.

Peter crushing on MJ was a natural evolution to me. He clearly has a type- Liz and MJ favor one another physically (and they're both taller than he is- that cracks me up). MJ kept making comments about Peter's life that made it plain she was keeping tabs on him. A cute face and the slightest hint of interest is more than enough for a teen boy to catch feelings. Once Liz moved away, he had room in the crush center of his brain for MJ. And if nothing else, her dad can't possibly be as scary as Liz's dad was/is:-). I enjoyed seeing him awkwardly pursue her (between instances of Fury hijacking his vacation time) and the payoff was great. He finally got the girl and she already knows he's Spiderman- makes it a lot easier to juggle the relationship and super-heroing. The shock ending was my favorite MCU callback. When Mysterio outed Peter to the whole world, he said the same thing Aunt May said when she walked in on him as Spiderman. "What the F---?" makes perfect sense to me- I mean, what else you gonna say in that circumstance? :-)

Sorry I suck at writing I feel how spiderman in this act’s makes perfect sense and not odd at all story wise (for tom’s Spiderman). Tom’s spiderman has a stunted growth because of Tony and this spiderman being “iron man jr”. Since he was given stark tech, he never had to develop his spider sense which is why he has an inconsistent at best spider sense. Of course, he also has not had his canon event the cause that makes him a selfless hero yet either. The weight of the random people putting pressure on him to replace iron man (in story) that would be rough as hell, I mean just look what happens to young musicians in real life. him dodging responsibility feels wrong for spiderman but right for tom’s spiderman.

This movie is such a mess to watch because i was part of the filming in Prague as an extra so its really weird seeing how they put all these random scenes together. For example the part where peter fights the fire monster wasnt even filmed in Prague but in Liberec and they just digitally combned these places together also when i remeber that we filmed some scenes for hours only for them to be few seconds in the actual movie
