Hey Jackie and Aaron - Do you enjoy the juxtaposition of a joyful holiday with horror? Also, how does this compare to other Christmas horror movies?

Violent Night: Either I got older or modern Christmas movies just don’t capture the same magic they did when I was a kid. But it is the reason I say this, this is honestly one of the best modern Christmas movies in my opinion. I’m curious if y’all agree, and what is some of yalls favorite modern Christmas movies, or just yalls favorite Christmas movies in general. Me personally my favorite modern Christmas is The Holdovers, but my favorite of all time is Die Hard without question, and I’ll die on the hill that it is a Christmas movie.

Violent Night: Hi Jackie and Aaron. This is a new Christmas classic I have watched each Christmas since it came out. They did a great job of making this an action film, but it still has that heartfelt Christmas story that you look forward to in a Christmas film. Just curious, Did you like David Harbour’s performance as Santa Claus?
