In regards to what gg rap this reminds you of, maybe Twice? To me the rhythm gives Feel Special rap, but I could be totally off here

Erin Violet

Chocolate reminds me of twice! The likey rap section has similar vibes, feel special also has that wholesome, right-side-of-cheesy rap sound

Chocolate is more like a “bonus track”, it was released only digitally as a Valentine song in a form of a gift to fans. That is why it has an English version… So technically it was treated as a title track, that is why it so different than the rest of the actual b-sides. It wasn’t even considered as a pre-release, so that is why I call it a bonus track, because they most likely wanted to include the song on a physical release too, therefore they added it to this mini album and obviously as it usually works, they kept the same track list for DSPs/digital version of the album too. Here is the video to Chocolate: https://youtu.be/2fbiZhLtRDE?si=MLY-2Yj-Pnr5ETIv I mentioned on YouTube under you reaction to Strawberry Rush that I lately play Howl (the whole EP) before falling asleep kind of every day. So I tried to do it with this EP too and right before I nearly fell asleep the “wake up” part in Daydreamer woke me up 😅😅 To rate this EP… I like Chocolate a lot (I am not into these songs, but this song made me do “challenge dance” she did on social media while I was listening to that during doing dishes or something like that 😆😆), but at the same time the fact they added this song here with its English version, it somehow makes the whole experience less untouchable as in case of Howl, where I view that as perfectly thought through album in which they knew where to place each song to make it feel like a perfect experience while listening to that from start to end. But at the same time if the EP ended just with Lucid Dream, it would have felt like a proper end for the EP is missing. I don’t know… I like language versions, but maybe if they placed Chocolate before Strawberry Rush and then kept the English version for the end, so it would have felt like a perfect circle as in case of The New Six’ Boyhood, therefore the experience would have been more “to its fullest”. Basically as it is now, this is the only problem I have here. It is too soon to tell if this becomes my before falling asleep EP, because with Howl it wasn’t right from the start either… On the other hand I have to admit Strawberry Rush might be my the most favorite song by her! Until now it has been Hitchhiker, because the song with its music video brought me to Chuu. And you know… the music video for Strawberry Rush is just 13/10 😉🫵 For the favorite b-side of mine (I don’t count Chocolate because of what I said above) I would be choosing between Daydreamer and Lucid Dream (I thought I had my pick chosen, but after this listening party I became unsure again 😅😅… and Honeybee is great, it is just not the immediate pick for me as these two). Regarding your question of what her rap parts reminds you… Maybe Twice - I Can’t Stop Me (the “Risky, Risky, wiggy 위기 this is an emergency” part)

I think the girlgroup you thinking about is Oh My Girl

DTruth

Not really Chuu related but has PD already reacted to loossemble's 2nd Minialbum?? Just asking because I couldn't find it.

Lol, never did I think I would hear someone compare Chuu to Huta. Both are two of my ult's, though! I am so excited that I got tickets to see Chuu in Phoenix during her fancon tour! I just know I am going to cry when she starts singing.

queen gowon

choclate was released as a single first (on valentines!) and I am so sad it didn't get the recognition it deserves TT def my fav on the whole album

DTruth

I think Daydreamer sounds similar to Weeekly's 'After School'
