Hi, PD! So happy to see your reaction to Winner! This song is so beautiful and triumphant, with such a huge influence of Jinki's own life on it - he talked about it in a few videos, and he wrote lyrics for this song as well as all the songs on the album (he also produced it). He filmed the MV in Czech Republic, so you weren't wrong about Europe. He also released live performance videos for Winner and other songs from Connection. And I can't wait for both LP's - Connection is really good and continues to establish Onew's new sound, while Call Back is just overall such a great album, I love it so much.

🌷

This song I cant stop listening it makes me smile and be hopeful that everything will be okay. Can't wait for your listening party.

As always, it’s fascinating to hear your thoughts on production and also deeply satisfying to hear how Onew’s music impacts you emotionally. His and SHINee’s music get me through a lot, the hard times as well as the good. I love taking this journey with you. Stay safe!

Shawol-OT5

I love this album. Thank you so much for your reaction ❤️

WiseSmellyLegs

Woah! That’s not just “in Europe”… that was shot in Prague, the capitol of my country! That’s cool!

tash

Thank u for this reaction!! One of my favourite parts of this MV is when we can see his bruises slowly fading and completely gone around 2:10 🥹 Looking forward to the album reaction too!

i've been waiting for this!!! it's also so interesting your story through jinki's albums because in a way you followed exactly his musical direction of healing and happiness. i'm really excited for you to hear connection just because of the things you talked about in your own personal story but also because the music, 15/10!!!

yes he went to prague around end of november. he filmed the teasers and a lot of the photos in ploskovice, which is really pretty. he also filmed a live video inside.

creeee

oh let me just say...you should keep the stories in the mv in question while listening to connection 😁

This is my favorite Jinki title song. It's so beautiful and emotional. Lyrics is inspiring for me. I've been waiting for this reaction since the song dropped. And I am so happy that you'll be doing your SHINee journey this year.

로리 Lori

Btw, I can't access your other old SHINee related videos and I've been subscribed since October in your highest tier.

Jorgie

I agree in everything you said PD, great analysis as always 💙. I cant wait for you to hear the full album, im sure you will love it. Like Flow, Onew wrote all the songs too for Connection. He's such a lyrics genius. I am so excited for your SHINee journey 💙

ceejay

OMG! PD thank you for reacting. I love your reaction. You'll love the Connection album cause it's a combination of different genre. It's such a solid album.

Which one? Can you name an example? If it’s super old it’s because they don’t exist anymore unfortunately; they were part of an older server

Neeko

This is my first time checking out Onew's music and the amount of tears I cried listening to this. His voice and the melody of this song really just hit me.

I’m really so happy to see the process of you falling for SHINee. Wishing you the best for your journey with them this year, can’t wait to see it!

Fluffy_Chick

I've watch most of your Onew&SHINee reaction, I'm so happy that you said you gonna listen to the full ep. and you still have a long way to go to explore Onew's songs! you know he still have his two more mini album for you, VOICE&DICE! (and still more if we count his japanese one too) Oh and fyi I think you've miss three song from Don't call me era, they have re-packaged album call Atlantis that added three more song to the DCM album. That three song are Atlantis, Area & Days and Years. I'm really recommend you to listen to them, especially if you're Onew biased like me!😂 (It's a re-packaged album so Atlantis is a new title-track, they have an MV for this one!)

Blue_Twist

Loving how Onew seems to be magically delivering you the song you need for the moment you’re in. I can’t wait for more of your SHINee journey!

Yvonne Squires

Thank you for reacting to Onew’s new song. The new album is really great. If you get the chance, you should watch Onew and Maestro, not the song but the documentary style video where he talks about creating Connection and the lyrics of Winner, Manse, and conversation. He also does live performances of those songs. It’s so well made and gives insights into his thinking when writing the lyrics for the songs.

ONEWhoInspires

Don’t forget the Dice Album….🤗
