Man, I have never seen any producer receives that much curse like Teddy does recently :V Not just you being annoyed by his lack of presence, some other reactors and the public are also not happy with his music style. I gotta say that man has lived such an unbothered life lol.

I have always wanted to say this, but Fuko accepting her part changed could have been the big reason why she wasn't chosen in the end. Even though VVN's suggestion of changing the part is also debatable to me, the fact that Fuko didn't raise her voice to fight for her part made her lose the chance to prove that she can also be different. If she had been more confident in herself and hadn't picked the easy way, her chance would have been bigger.

I don't know if you ever feel the same, but to me Jee-min possesses one of the most beautiful arm and hands movement among idols, and the best among izna. Maybe because of her long limbs as well as her long fingers, her movements are always mesmerizing, like she can play with melody with her fingertips. From her Money performance to her recent ones, especially her dance to Gnarly, she never stops surprising me.

Juanita

i never thought about this but that makes a lot of sense

I’ve also thought this about Jeemin’s proportions. It’s why I was so confused and disappointed early on because her lack of confidence made it feel like she didn’t use her arms properly. But then… she snapped

This is me every survival show. If you want to win you need either a viral vocal blowup like Jiyoon if you don’t EVER plan on pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, or you have to take on EVERY challenge. Korean producers, as do I, respect GUTS over anything. Mentality over skill any day. The idea is that you can TRAIN and develop skills over time; mentality is something you need to bring to the table on your own. Trying to train someone into having a different mentality just doesn’t work. For example they criticized and pointed out when people don’t just sing a part because their voice might break. But Sarang, who not only had voice breaks, but her voice broke LIVE multiple times, ALWAYS went for it, always put in 1000% and only cried about it AFTER. But she never backed down. It’s what really won me over on Sarang. So I also agree, Fuko could have gotten such a HUGE edge if she had fought to keep her part and successfully pull it off.

Lmao, his musical style is the one thing I don’t have an issue with. I personally love his musical taste, style, ideas, and ambitions. I just wish this dude would stop being such an introvert T_T

Her choice is understandable tho. It's easier for us as outsiders to point out what should have been a better outcome, but for her being very close to her debut dream, taking a risk at this stage was too much for her to handle. Considering her overall journey, we can see that Fuko was always strategic and cautious with every single step. She always wanted to show her best self. The problem is, we already saw her best in the previous rounds. Like you said, PD, she should have grabbed a chance to refresh her image and concept earlier in the show.

18:50 - “Just imagine if Teddy showed up for the last episode”… I have a better one: “Imagine if Teddy showed up and HE WAS THE ONE MAKING THE PRODUCER’S PICK” Like: “Yeah, I have ACTUALLY been aware of this show and this one is the one, who I think has to debut in this group” 26:30 - I always find funny that since Teddy left the stage and decided to be only a producer, he wears mask EVERYWHERE, where he could be seen, even for two seconds shot 😅😅

WiseSmellyLegs

Maybe… but to be fair, I think WakeOne knew which members they want and although they did want Fuko at first, I think they changed their opinion after Koko became super popular and kind of “swapped them”

WiseSmellyLegs

My dream is that once The Black Label gets bigger (like after debuting the boy group and maybe some other projects in their The Black SEA subsidiary (joint venture with a company from Thailand, so aimed for South East Asian market), they would all make something like YG Family (although they have to work on their naming, so they don’t end up being “The Black Family”… 😬😬💀💀) and then we get Teddy back on stage! At least for one 1TYM cover stage with Woochan, Tarzzan and some other ones, either the new boys or… wait for it… GAWON!!

MITNITE98

I disagree, coz their role in a group is very different, the comparison between them doesn't make much sense. If you have to put her up against any member of the final lineup, it has to be Mai or Sae-bi.

Neeko

Lol this finale confirmed that most of my survival show biases are big softies and I relateeee: Saebi, Sunoo, Gyuvin, Gunwook.

WiseSmellyLegs

That is true. Hmm… I phrased my words incorrectly. I meant it regardless of positions. As if WakeOne had a vision for this group and they chose members, who fit the vision without thinking about any specific positions. For example making Sarang a rapper was definitely last minute thought. So choosing Koko over Fuko was for them like: “Huh, Koko got really popular and she might be able to learn to rap easier than others here, let’s keep her”

okeh dude
