tbf the current CBX situation I feel is largely not SM's fault and more the fault of their new agency for riling the members up. The whole MC Mong company and its subsidiaries is a whole mess with Haknyeon getting kicked out from The Boyz for being framed by news outlets for something he didn't do to Taemin having to pay his staff as the company wouldn't pay them and more stuff going on behind the scenes.

i am so sad cbx is not here cause the album is so peak, hope they come back for the next one. you can actually check out their music show performances or recordings behind. Also, idk if you listened to Chanyeol's 2nd album, but i feel like you'd like it after seeing you r reaction to flatline (arguably my fav on the album along with crazy, back it up, suffocate, crown)

When I saw that you uploaded your reaction to this album, I was most excited to see you react to Crazy because that song just really takes you for a RIDE, WHAT A JAM 🤩 Also PD, may I suggest for you to check out other albums of D.O., you reacted before to his 2nd mini album and you enjoyed his vocals a lot. He released his 3rd mini album (Blossom) and 1st full album (Bliss) since then, I hope you give them a listen too when you have time 😌🫶🏻

This felt like a traditional EXO comeback, except for the obvious. It felt like listening to Obsession album for the first time which is still my fav. The only song I just didnt like is Back Pocket. Suffocate is my fav and Back It Up. Only thing that would make this album my fav is if CBX was here. Im just gonna pretend its a unit album.

Echoing some of the other comments, I think PD would really enjoy D.O's albums that they missed and Chanyeol's second album (I like it even more than the first one!). Still highly recommend watching the BTS for their Cream Soda recording and now for Crown / Back it Up

Adding Baekhyun's Essence of Reverie album to things that PD would enjoy. He is one of my top 3 soloists and its always a good time when I listen to his music!

i think what stings the most about this album is the fact that because exo have stuck to the same general structure for over a decade, you can easily hear where cbx would’ve slotted in to each song, particularly chenbaek in the title & back it up. the fact we had been BEGGING sm for years for a royalty concept to get it during this state of affairs is ugh. is it my favourite album? no, did i want to hate it more than i do? certainly. is it still a certified exo™️ album? absolutely. its frustrating that almost every single exo comeback has a caveat of missing members.
