"Im so glad u checked this out. BDC has been my big revelation late last year. Their debut songs were 'F Girl" and "Bet You'll Regret it" which were both made by Soyeon from I-Dle (I believe? I know she was involved, but Im not sure how it all worked. F Girl SOUNDS like a Soyeon song), but their follow up "I Don't Care" was one of the top 5 songs of last year for me. Its amazing, and i think you'll dig it. I don't know if you do older songs as reactions but I would love for you to do that one if you could." 31:10 - Yes, this is their sound and this whole mini album feels like: “We have finally found our style” I DONT Care is a great song, but it is an izna-coded song. Their debut and pre-release song are like late i-dle b-sides + in general it feels like pre-debut material to release something to join the scene. Lately I noticed a thing that Kpop acts tend to debut with something to “join the game” and it is not as it used to be, when your debut was like a statement. Best example: MEOVV’s debut

I Don't Care remains my favourite but I really like Shapeshifter as well. Usually I would love a song like Bittersweet too, especially with the message they intentended to deliver, but for my taste it just sounds to upbeat and happy to deliver the exact feeling of bittersweetness.

Can't wait for "I don't care" definitely my favorite from them. And PD had a teaser from the award shows but not a clean version of the song which is fantastic imo

wasn't a much of a fan and slept on them since their debut wasn't to my taste, I think its mostly Soyeon's recent production is no longer my vibe. But since I DON'T CARE I've been paying attention again, really love the emotions in the songs

Glad you've checked them out PD. I really like Bittersweet but it's just not possible to beat "I DON'T CARE". Probably one if not my favorite release from 2025, and VVN worked on that song

loved your analysis of the bittersweet mv! both the translation of the messages (it made me so emotional to think about the song through the lens of a parent-child relationship) and the directorial breakdown bc i was SO arrested by it aesthetically when i saw it for the first time and you really captured why! i liked shapeshifter more as a playlist add but the mv+song combo of bittersweet really hit for me
