bts comedy is back😭 almost forgot how hilarious they are. btw rm and suga did an Epikase episode, i had so much fun watching it. Epik high with bts mix is hilarious. im always surprised how close and comfortable they are with each other!

Not sure but it was one of the many interpretations of the MV - This Oldboy homage goes beyond mere visual styling. After passing through the corridor that embodies a blind struggle for survival, what awaits is not a fairy-tale ending, but Woo-jin’s space—where stripped-down truth is confronted head-on. It suggests a shift in psychology: closing the first act of blindly pushing forward, and, in the aftermath of shattered illusions, facing one’s inner core with a quieter, more composed gaze.

I am obsessed with this JK persona, he was my fav in the intro! He's imitating some popular meme and he's been doing it for 3 years now, it's so annoying, I love it 😭 Also RM has been a standout for me in this era, he's so funny. I really wish you would check out the epikase episode with him and suga but I can't say it's insightful or anything, just funny as hell

They have a YT shorts featuring Park Chan Wook. I think they are highlighting iconic Korean people, films, etc. It's a means of sharing Korean culture globally. Because now people have started to look up Oldboy and before they looked up Arirang.. and other things related to Korea that they feature. Also in several occasions the members have mentioned their love for noir films and Oldboy. But I think Oldboy is that iconic that it is celebrated and praised by Koreans and those who know or seen it. I have to say that Tae's look and his intensity in the intro grabbed me and smacked me upside the head. They are all so funny and I love that about them.

Well put about SWIM being the title track! I also think that 2.0 doesn't fit as the title track because it doesn't represent the second half of the album which is more introspective and melodic, whereas SWIM acts as a good balance between the two halves imo.

yeah i definitely think they did a good job of choosing the title track and the 2nd promo single. swim gives them the western radio play/grammy nom they’re looking for while 2.0 allows for kpop/army to revisit the hip-hop/goofy side of bts that made us fall in love with them in the first place!!! (my fave country gangster look is namjoon simply bc he looks like yoo jaesuk and it really is uncanny… though tae’s facial acting at the beginning brings him to a very close second)
