watching this right now PD but just wondering is there any possibilities you will react to these BTS contents: - BTS ARIRANG Concert on this 9th Apr - it will be even more massive than this comeback show i think (you can watch live on weverse) - RUN BTS - it's back!!!! and they said it's a 2.0 version so it will be interesting to see how different it will be from the previous one - BTS interview with Zane Lowe - It's the best interview of them I personally think that really deep dive about each songs. I think you can learn a lot about the arirang back stories even ones not shown on the docu - suga & rm epikase episode with epik high, it's really fun and i think you will also enjoy that one PD - other BTS interviews (there are a lot of contents, i personally like the WIRED one (answers the most asked question), the upcoming one with hot ones, personally they are just fun times for me) Really hope there will be a ton of BTS contents this month. Thankyou PD!

seeing this after their solo runs - was bone chilling for me. like their growth as individuals and artists felt almost tangible. i woke up at like 6 am and i cant even describe the emotions i was feeling the whole day. usually i feel like there is a standout member in every bts era but i cant pick one this time because they all shine so much, it genuinely feels like this is the era where they all fit and feel right. Also - Jin's vocals in like animals went viral and like deserved because he was going crazyyy. through the whole show, he was doing background vocals and it wasn't shown but the fancams caught it and he's so good.

I agree, this show is phenomenal and I also felt teary eyes and felt somehow proud just to see them stand at that stage. They do grow a lot from those four years and I do think it’s because they were able to deep dive into their own stories and pour it out in their solos and that’s how they transform. They know who they are and truly in touch with themselves. I think their confident is now is just them being who they are and they are in acceptance of who they are, while like you said the previous eras were them running and running with the expectation. Also V is crazy with his energy, whenever my eyes catch him, he is just having fun and I think it’s true to all members, they are just having fun and it translated to their performance.

Thank you for your insight!! Honestly I completely agree that the years in between BTS comebacks helped them all to level up. Not only did they get to live their lives more, they also got to explore their own styles and colours and that helped them to see their strengths and work on their weaknesses since they suddenly had to fill up space as soloists without 6 other people backing them up, so when they all came back together it was explosive because they've all improved so much as individuals! I also think that if you need some more material for research for your dedicated BTS comeback video, I'd suggest you check out their comeback live on weverse where they discussed each song and the thought process behind it. The documentary doesn't really go into the songwriting process, it's more about them coming back together as a group so that specific livestream with all of them is super insightful regarding the music itself.

speaking of jins vocals right after the last prechorus of ‘FYA’ once he says “we go right now” theres vocals thats sound like it might be the backing track but it is actually him singing they just didnt catch it on camera. many armies found out through fan videos and went wild cause he sounds so angelic there

LMAO I saw the documentary reaction first and I mentioned Beyoncé there so it is very funny to see you mention it here and I very much agree. Cowboy Carter was an album that I did not love until I saw it live and then it became the obsession.

I love this concert and I love the documentary. I cried watching this and a little with the documentary. Idk why, but BTS always brings me to tears

I enjoyed the whole show, I get they had only an hour, so it is impossible to perform "everything", but when they chose Mic Drop, Butter and Dynamite instead of for example Idol or Fire, I was surprised. Also them pointing out this is the beginning of chapter 2.0 made me recall RM mentioning in that hiatus announcement video that No More Dream to On is chapter 1 and once they come back, they will start chapter 2 and so I thought they could perform at least On (since No More Dream might be considered "too old to be on a set list". But everything else looked great, no issues with the stream at all (I was worried about that the most) and it was definitely a very crucial moment for them and for Kpop in general, to be coming back with a performance like this

Knowing that you loved the swim choreography you need to react to the SWIM Live Clip I Sunhyewon Ver/ it’s soo good. It was shot so beautifully and the choreography looks amazing

you actually got the outfits part correct, it was specifically designed for bts's performance by a korean designer, Jay Songzio. The outfits as a set are titled "Lyrical Armor", inspired by early joseon-era armor and traditional korean culture. The sketches were pretty cool too!

ri

i also agree that the album just gets so much better with the live performances!

ri

oh and the outfits were specifically tailored for each member, and the concept behind it was really cool! if you're interested you could search up the sketches and the meaning behind each outfit.

ri

I agree! 🙏

I’m not sure if you’ve already seen it, but if you go back and watch their festa 2022 dinner where they announced the hiatus, you can definitely see their exhaustion and hear them talk about being burnt out. For me Jimin and V really stood out to me in terms of improvement. They sound so much stronger vocally this comeback. I think Jin and Jhope have that extra leg up is from having recent solo concerts whereas this was all the other members first time back on stage since enlistment.

lilian

i noticed it particularly with jin and tae but they all sound soooo good and so improved

lilian

just finished the video but yes jin had the biggest level up it was crazy!!!

lilian

and tae was especially In It this concert
