I don't know if you'll agree with me, but I believe Jinki is a wonderful storyteller, and his albums/EP really stand out for that reason. You can tell there's care put into the melodies, but especially into the message, and as a writer, I love a good story—a cohesive album that wants to say something, not just a sequence of songs, you know? About this album, I was eager for your reaction when you heard 'Lies' and 'X, oh why?' because my mind exploded when I listened to them. My faves from this EP. LOL

I'm always looking forward to your Onew reactions and they never disappoint 🙂‍↕️ I love this EP so much!! I think my favorite track is Lie, I’ve listened to it an unhealthy number of times. I even restart it from the beginning mid-listen because I don’t want it to end. You are 100% right he’s feeding us so well. He’s always one step ahead, working on the next release while touring and promoting! He’s really thriving. I think leaving SM was definitely the right move for him, and joining Griffin (his own label!) and working with the right people + being involved creatively is what makes this kind of great music possible and I’m here for it!! I agree. He’s an EXCELLENT story teller. He doesn’t tell like a specific story but he tells an emotional story through various songs really really well.

It makes. Me happy how much ONEW makes you happy! Me too! One thing Jjingguwols find out quickly is that we are our bias’s bias! This is actually true no matter which SHINee member is your bias. If we say, it would be nice if you dance more, Jinki says, I’m not confident but, if you want it I’ll hire some dancers and dance more. I will do it for you! If we say please compete so we can give you first place trophies, he says, I don’t need trophy but, if you show up at the crack of dawn to support me, I’ll compete and I’ll buy you breakfast as a thank you!

Jinki really fed us all really well LOL. My Fav songs are Lie & X, Oh Why. One thing I really love about Jinki is that his voice is so~ so unique, he can sound so light, fresh and airy or sound warm and solid but it's still sound like his very own voice either way. and, if we really count, after he left SM it's not only 1 full album and 3 EPs that we've got but actually 4 EPs! we have the other one from his japanese side! I still wanna cheer you to listen to his japanese EPs too, you know LOL. Jinki always got compliments about his japanese pronunciation in the comment section, SHINee also one of a very few group that have a solid amount of original japanese song. anddd, I really don't want you to skip their "The First" album all together😭, at the very least that album have 5 new original japanese tracks (or 6 new tracks on digital album, but that one song gonna be in Sherlock album as Korean version anyway), 5 tracks equal as one EP. I think it's not too bad to have a LP?🥺 or you can add 2 more stand alone tracks, these 2 tracks are from their single albums & didn't appear on any other full album ever again.... but they still sing them on their japan concert anyway, so it's good to listen to the studio version beforehand right?😂 for Jinki contents, I think you still miss out Jinki on "Today's Wendy", they have sing together on that show a bit~ and you only react to Jinki's singing 32nd December on "Song Stealer", never the full part. Jinki actually has 3 main part on this show, first is "Love Like Oxygen" Byul is the one that challenge to steal this song, next is "Dream Girl" Lily & Sulyeon NMIXX is the challengers and the last part is Jinki himself try to steal "32nd December", the challenger sang first and then the original singer come up to defend their song. you really have to watch the full part to know the result that it's a "Steal" or "Defend". (if I remember correctly, if it's a "Steal", the stealer version gonna be on streaming platform or smth like that?) Actually, I want to rewatch Sea of Hope with you too, you know? I know that after you become his fan you gonna have many more interesting things to say about him on this show for sure😆 Last but not least, for other SHINee members, you already know about Taemchella. but pls go watching Minho's comeback single "Tempo" too. it has 2 tracks "Tempo" & "You're right". he also has 2 more new japanese tracks "Sunkissed" & "Flawless" 🥺🥺🥺

I went to his Percent encore concert in Seoul and he performed x, oh why prior to the album release. The crowd went insane!! It became a core memory for me 🥹 he is currently in Griffin a label established by his friend (not his label, he clarified a few times that he just signed a contract there 😅) Also apart from the 3 EPs and 1 full album, he also released a japanese EP last year (most employed solo idol!!!!) kimi=hana and lily are my fav from that EP. check it out if you have time ☺️ Thank you for this reaction, always love to see people appreciate his art!

this is onew's most involved album yet...he produced all of his griffin albums (new company) and co-wrote most of them but in this one he (co) produced, wrote all 5 songs and composed 2 (tough love and lie). my fave album yet (i say every new release lol) and yes jjinggus (official fanclub) are so well fed. he also consistently does festivals and shows since he left sm. he sends fromm messages almost every day. aside from his stages, you should check out the behind recording of the songs for this one! https://youtu.be/Zc-YnQbz1PY?si=61iAOAW7h6rkfLfp

It STAGGERS me that at one time he just thought all he was capable of was singing ballads. I won't say bad words about SM, but how they manage to waste - WASTE - so much talent is genuinely shocking. I knew you'd lose your mind over X, Oh Why - I do as well every day after dropping the kiddo off at school. The playlist varies, but right now it's Minho - Call Back (still!), Taemin - Long Way Home, Onew - X, Oh Why, Boy/Conversaion/Silky/Epilogue, Key - Want Another/Picture Frame/I know and then back to Taemin. Depending on my mood Jjong's Neon pops in too! But I have to ask - again - how does SHINee do it?? What is it about them that allows them all to explore their own musical ideas with such confidence? Or if not confidence, 'fuck-it' ness?? I genuinely can't think of another group that is so successful with all of its soloists???
