PPPPDDDDDD YOU GET IT 👏👏👏 i feel like i can always count on you to understand and appreciate txt the way they deserve. i knew you were gonna love this album so im glad you met my expectations lolol also, you’re right that txt was much more involved in the development and creation of the album. now that the original lore line is over (plus the contract renewal), they have more freedom for creativity outside the constraints of that. they mentioned a few times about being in discussions and meetings with the company early on in the album development, which they haven’t really talked much about before outside of solo tracks and albums here for the so what appreciation, but i honestly am having such a hard time picking favorites. every time i think ive picked a favorite, one of the other tracks will play and i start gettig wishy washy lol

I do agree txt needs to be bigger but unfortunately txt doesn't get the right promotions from their company. They currently getting the middle child treatment lowkey.

They do in fact all sing So What lmfao. I highly recommend checking out the comeback live performance of it, it made me love the song even more ( https://youtu.be/0aqBnzik0W8?si=-Yms_UoV78_1iS84 ). I did also think it was Yeonjun-coded af but after watching the live performance... I think Taehyun claimed this song ngl. Is this a biased opinion? Possibly lol. But hey, he was goin crazy on that stage. And I completely agree that this is too good to be this short. I'm not even mad about the runtimes at this point, I just want more. I literally been puttin this song on repeat constantly since it came out.. 16 minutes is not enough. I need more. That being said, I cant lie, this might be my favorite TXT album solely because these songs flow so well together.

I was so excited for your reaction to this!! TXT have mentioned that they had a lot of input in this album, they got a say in which tracks were chosen and 4 of them have writing credits on the album so it's much more THEM as a whole!

Omg u get it with Take Me To Nirvana.🔥 Fyi, according to Taehyun in their recent radio interview, he said his 1st draft for the lyric for So What has really really honest, a&r team ask him to tone soften some of his word😅. I guess So What is going for diss rap direction if they have 100% control on the song. He already promise to show the original draft once he do solo weverse live and I'm seated for that

YES YES exactly!!! This is their most cohesive sonically. I really really love the vocal arrangements and mixing on this album; the way it has that 'echo' effect layers throughout the album, i feel like that's also the common thread that bind all of the song together. 21st Century Romance really reminds me of Charli XCX's Wuthering Heights goth-electro-popchestra sound, which similarly convey brooding dark romance aesthetic (it is also one of my favorite album releases this year!!). Everyone probably also agreeing that So What has No Labels dna all over 😆 A very nostalgic Timbaland's style of beat loop and amazing hype song!!! Can't wait to enjoy it at the concert!! Same with you, my favorites are also Bed of Thorns (TXT first track supremacy, am i right??), Take Me to Nirvana (i died and went to electropop heaven😭😇) and So What. However i love each and every one of the songs. Glad we're still having that alt rock sound on Dream of Mine (and that amazing bridge!!) because rock TXT will always have my heart. For me, Kai and Taehyun really shine on this album; their yearning this time around are no joke!. It's also a crime that this well rounded EP is just 16 minutes... definitely need a full album 😭😂

Glad you enjoyed the album and got it out so quickly, it is appreciated! I would agree that this is probably their most cohesive album. I think now they're being allowed to put more input, especially since they no longer have to match the themes of their lore since that has been completed. All the members were pretty nervous about this comeback, especially since it's the best after contract renewal so I hope they get all the love that this amazing album deserves. My favorites in order (excluding Stick With You) are Dream of Mine, Bed of Thorns, So What, Take Me to Nirvana and 21st Century Romance

Big Hit is targeting the Chinese market with this album along with a lot of the pre album promo by the members, so that’s probably why Vinida is on it

About 'So What': i think Yeonjun recorded the guide for the song and the rest used the way he sings and raps as an inspiration. That's why it sounds like a No Labels song! And I agree that 2024-2025 TXT felt a bit... muted? In my opinion Bighit wasn't very clear in what artistic direction they wanted for the group, so they stuck to safer trends and sounds... when TXT had been trendsetters and known for messing around with genres A LOT on their first few years. I can only hope that this album is what we're going to get after contract negotiations: riskier takes, bold and expressive music. No Labels is the example they need to follow to keep growing artistically as a group.

I have bad news for you... They have four studio albums. The Star Chapter Together (the one they released last year with the solo songs) is their latest studio album, so we'll have to wait at least another year. I'm guessing they'll release one before Yeonjun enlists.

Yeah 😭 Their studio albums are super short, usually 8 songs. Freefall has 10 songs, but it includes Back For More, Do It Like That and an English version of Chasing That Feeling, so...

Yes I really wish Hybe had given over the creative control yrs ago. Hybe definitely stopped their growth as a group while pushing txt to the US market. I feel all the yearning in this album. If maybe txt was given more control early on Hybe wouldn’t have been so controlling. I hope the boys can get more time to explore the song writing side of themselves soon.

I really liked this album but they need to get rid of the Tiktok length songs lowkey :] Also I wish they let Beomgyu participate in songwriting or producing. Maybe next time.

Been looping this album and I’m so glad you said it needed to be a studio length, dream of mine has an incredible effect as the final song or possibly an interlude in the middle but it’s impact falls short because the album hasn’t had enough time to build up to / around it!! I’ve felt their albums to be disjointed for quite some time too… although I personally always found ‘the dream chapter: eternity’ to be a complete and cohesive musical journey to listen to~💜💚🤍
