Teagan

I was hoping for this!

V sometimes struggles with kimchi 🤣. I mean he didn’t ask them who they want to collaborate with or what’s their favourite American fast food. He knew the recorded danger in a garage. So he has already surpassed every American interviewer. I hope you watch their wire complete. They are completely chaotic during the whole thing.

v is absolutely terrible with spice LOLLL, he stopped after the third wing. he struggles with shin ramyun, kimchi, anything spicy in general. i think if he went farther he would've passed out lmfaoo. jungkook is probably the most insane guest i've seen on the show. i've never seen anyone else willingly keep eating the wings and enjoy it, i was absolutely shocked. sean is always my fav interviewer bc he acc says deep cut questions like when he mentioned suga as gloss??? my jaw dropped!!! insane. the interview was hilarious jin and rm carried hard with making me laugh lmfaoo

The way the entire fandom was praying for V when the announcement came out when we should have focused our efforts on Jin, RM and J-hope 😭. My guy was literally astral projecting and promoting swim choreo in this chaos

I agree with you that the interview was a little lacking for me but it is forgivable considering the amount of guests. Honestly, army has been so sick and tired of the awful western interviews that someone even having surface level Bangtan knowledge was worth hyping up (atleast its fun, its always entertaining watching them crash out). Their other korean promotions have been similar for the most part - just light fun because they've been out for so long. Nothing too serious. The only other western interview worth watching i think is Zane Lowe's talk with them. Actually good questions and it really feels like he understands the impact BTS has and respects them for it. Also it feels like he's actually curious about their answers which is always a plus for me. I would recommend it if you're still doing research for your overall BTS/Arirang video. Even if you don't react to it on the channel. And also for that, maybe check out their KeepSwimming series on Instagram with prominent Korean figures, they're like 2 mins each.

honestly the fact that this interview was one of the best in terms of questions is absolutely crazy. the amount of repetitive questions bts has gotten among all the interviews is crazy. Especially the interview with WIRED was probably the worst. They asked jimin if he liked mango or not. like seriously? they could have picked better questions.

I'm seeing that other comments already mentioned what I wanted to say about the quality of questions maybe not being to the usual hot ones level but still being lightyears better than the usual "what food do you like to eat in the US" bullshit they have been asked a billion times in other interviews you also can't forget that hot ones is such a well established and loved show that a lot of non-fans are watching it and for them, these questions are new and not as super surface level and the interview is definitely fun and might get people interested in checking out more about them :)

JJ

regarding you saying you haven't watched anything funny-BTS related in a long time, I would not be against you watching some more group content that isn't as "serious"/interview-based/documentary style! hehe if you want something short/one-time, there are some more promotional fun bits and bops like their wired autocomplete interview but I'd also love to see the return of run bts (if you want something more recent and are fine with it not being full-group, run seokjin is also hilarious and he has some great guests on as well)

this was so fun! rolling stones magazine did interviews with each individual member with lots of insightful questions. Would highly recommend those videos.

Dassah

Yessss lovedd this episode!!! I was crying laughing at Jin every time 😭

madi

this video was super fun but if youre looking for more meaningful interviews i have to say that as of right now rolling stones is releasing one on one interviews with the members and i havent watched them all but from what ive seen they are speaking on some deeper topics. its quite interesting to see a western interviewer ask them since as fans we usually have to watch bts answer the same “whats your favorite american food 🤪” question over and over

V has a disorder called Cholinergic Uticaria which can be triggered by spicy foods among other things. It causes burning, itchy, stinging hives.

Zswag

Hadassah??? 😭😭😭lmfaooooo

Dassah

LOLLL yeah I be on here all the time girl

AlexaByFrames

I feel the boys were there for the fun, and then Sean asked great questions. Too, too fun. And Jimin remembering Digimon's song? That's a masterpiece.

Degs

Actually Tae gave up quickly cause he has a disorder called Cholinergic Uticaria, which can be triggered by spicy foods among other things. It causes burning, itchy, stinging hives. So it does not only becomes spicy but actually painful.
