The Hwasa song you had in mind (the one being like a PSY song and Hwasa song at the same time) is NA. Also… people might correct you that PSY actually did not give enough freedom to Dawn and HyunA, because he is known to be really picky and takes so much time to decide what to release. In my opinion their case was as simple as them wanting to get a new label to sign them, so they don’t end up being forgotten after leaving Cube and they themselve did not really know what to do with their career at that moment. Because P Nation is best at signing an artist, who knows what their style and vision is and they just need the label to back them up and get them to people they need. Crush, Hwasa, Jessi and sort of also Heize and An Shinae are great examples. Penomeco and Swings are questionable, since they do not have the “hip hop and pop scene overlap” as Jessi for example and so they are straight up rappers and so the care taken of their public imagine is somewhat different (I cannot really comment on Penomeco much, but Swings’ album under P Nation is lit!) (And D.Ark had a huge potential but dude let himself get caught drinking under age, so he had to leave…)
