After such a beloved debut... can CORTIS live up to the hype?

Etoile2004

ACAI and YCC are the only songs that aren’t for me but I still really enjoyed this project

Sarkii

10/10 EP from a 10/10 group

Marco Gennuso

One of the best albums of the year 🔥

Jee Emm

Oh yes they definitely did live up to the hype, 101%! Not even a year in their career, already reaching up to new heights. By the way, Blue Lips is primarily written by MARTIN pre debut. It's about his trainee days and losing friends along the way.

Candice Gde

I find ACAI a bit too repetitive for me but that's pretty much all I have to say, overall easy 10/10 on each song 😌

sora

GREENGREEN is indeed GREENGREEN for me. It actually kinda went over my expectations. When teasing the EP they kept saying that it was going to have a raw, authentic, and unpolished vibe to it and I couldn’t really picture it since what’s done in kpop is literally the opposite lol. But now i get it. Even from following their journey and watching their vlogs, this EP screams CORTIS.

those being my two favorites from the album lmaooo

Valeria C

Blue lips just remind us what an amazing artist Martin can be

Stephanie Dockery

PD just so you know Acai also has a mv and was just released couple days ago

Millicent

I listened to the album once and I was like "meh, from the new songs I only like wassup and blue lips" then suddenly all that was playing in my head was acai. Its been on repeat for days now. I was so excited when the mv an conceptual film were announced. Love this album.

Borgo

Loved everything about this release. I don’t even know how many times I listened to Blue Lips after my first run thru of the album lolll. Was SOOO looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. Thank you for sharing!!

B

it’s funny that you mention balming tiger because james has recommended their songs before

allo 🍓

this is one of those EPs i want to own on vinyl because i think it would sound great, its already a classic in my bedroom. the only song i dont have on repeat is acai (although i am not mad if it plays, but it gets repetitive)

WiseSmellyLegs

My favorite tracks are RedRed, Acai and YOUNGCREATORCREW and then? Hmm… TNT or Blue Lips and then Wassup.

Risse

I like how giddy PDnim gets when reacting to CORTIS

DG

Your reaction and excitement listening to Cortis exactly reflects mine! Loved watching your reaction. About blue lips- Martin wrote the song during his trainee days when he was wee lil lad, reflecting on his feelings after seeing his other trainee friends leave. Add James experience with Trainee A and it feels very emotional 😭

memewei

i love cortis with my whole heart and i understand why they might not appeal to the wider audience BUT as my queen, lily, once said: "for the art and not the charts" CLOCK IT LILY

memewei

wassup sounds like it could be a sik-k song ngl BANGER

fern

obsessed with the first 24 seconds of wassup, it feels like it could start a totally different song. the whole instrumental is really sick.

you should definitely watch the greengreen realise party, their energy while performing is so insane
