It's been amazing re-watching this with you PD. Just some thoughts and theories I have on this drama. 1. He never committed S and was killed by the serial killer even the first time he died. There was a door bell ringing before he died and since we know almost evrerything repeats, we saw that the serial killer rung the doorbell when Sunjae died/coma the second time. A lot of people have this theory too. 2. Sol's friendship with Kim Tae Sung is the major turning point to change their fate. Tae Sung did not graudate High School and have bad reputation from what we know of the original timeline. During Sol's first trip, she gave him some advice about parents caring even though Tae Sung doesn't seem so. I believe that made some help with lessening Tae Sung's rebellion amd even he liking her and them pseudo dating plus Sol telling him to not regret not doing his best during school and all helped Tae Sung become less rebellious and even graduate HS which was not the case in the original timeline. Tae Sung even knowing about the kidnapping and what not, made for some bridge between him and his dad and him being a detective. 3. Sol telling Tae Sung to tell his dad to save Sun Jae in 2023 instead of her. Since they all have this subconscious knowledge about different timelines, my theory is, that one lingered and prompted Tae Sung to run the taxi over to save Sun Jae. This is just my theory and poetic in a way that Sol's goodwill to just be friends with Tae Sung, without even any effect to her main goal of saving Sun Jae, lead to her happy ending is just *chef's kiss*. The exact portrayal of you reap what you saw in the best way possible.

I Cry every time I see the scene with sunjae and the grandma because she’s telling him to live a long life finally after dying multiple times which he remembers every single time after getting his memories back. Also side note apparently in the original script wooseok wasn’t supposed to cry but when doing the scene he felt such intense emotion he cried which really elevated the scene in my opinion.

This became my favorite K-Drama of all time, I had my favorites here and there but I always had little critiques about them. This is the only one where I thought it was absolutely perfect. It made me cry, it made me laugh, it made me feel complete when it ended. I need more romcom dramas to have the final episode be just full on romantic comedy, not finishing a final bit of a storyline where the main characters have to separate for a long time and then times skip to when they see each other again, *cough Business Proposal. 11/10, I don’t think there’ll be anything that could beat this genuinely.

pd cupping his face while smiling during the cute scenes is so relatable

chim

like we need more cheesy romance in this household

I came here to see if anyone talked about this. You can also note that anytime Sol would bring up death in a suicide kinda way he would say he basically would never do that. He insisted a lot. I’m 100% sure he always died at the hands of the killer. 2nd is the reason this had a different outcome form all other attempts was TaeSung. He needed. Like this user said thier new relationship really helped change a lot of things and Sol wasn’t alone anymore. He was the key.
