I literally just watched this music video and this might be a crazy take but I think this is their best work!!! Everyone is killing this concept and has so many moments to shine I love it I know it's harder to do with larger groups so I feel a bit conflicted but I think this lineup works so well! I'm so excited for the album 🤍

this song FUCKS!!!!! this song might even be my favourite zb1 title track hands down (sorry to my queen in bloom) but i'm still undecided for now. the 5 members have never shone as much as now and having to distribute the spotlight among 9 members vs 5 definitely played a role. i loved the music video so much and it complimented the song perfectly + all the members look stunning!! who knew wakeone had it in them omfg... i would love it if they went down this route further and carved this tasteful refined sexy energy as their niche, it isn't really present in current 5th gen mainstream bgs (the closest group i can think of is wayv but even then, wayv is more neo). i wonder if they would have gone in the same musical direction if the yuehua members stayed - iconik was their first title track teasing something more mature and this rebrand feels like both a reset and an evolution. i agree that ricky would have been so good on this song but oh well :/ anyway i can't wait to listen to their EP in 3 hours I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

wow you explained it well why it sounded complete despite being a short song!! i would love for it to be longer but at the same time i thought that it doesn't feel incomplete in comparison to many short kpop songs. i feel like they ended it nicely, not abrupt, so it still feels like a complete song!

i like how they used a 4:3 aspect ratio instead of the standard widescreen (16:9) most mvs use these days, which is what a lot of 2nd gen/mtv mvs used too

ZB1 was given creative control for this comeback, and the level of care they put into it shows. You mentioned how this TT showcases the members, specifically Taerae, well, and they've talked about how now that they're five, there's nowhere to hide, so they really had to think about they strength and weaknesses and showcase or avoid, respectively, those. Also, regarding their choice to stay together, they have talked openly about that as well. To paraphrase, Gunwook said that from day one, he was always going to stay, if he could, because of how well he gets on with the members and how like minded they are in their goals. Hanbin described their getting to debut together as "fate" and "lucky" because they genuinely get along/love each other and are aiming to go in the same direction, and Jiwoong has said that they can understand how they feel telepathically/just by looking at each other, and that they want to stay together for a long time (Something the other members have reiterated a lot as well). In one interview, Gunwook said it more explicitly that their choice to stay together will only ever end if they have a personal falling out with each other. The other songs are also so good (I watched the leaks from their comeback premiere filming), and I can't wait to watch your reaction to the album, especially one song in particular, "Customize." I also hope you react to both parts of their comeback showcase.

This song is too short but notice how it still has a complete structure.... That helps it feel longer. I hate when songs just cut off after the second chorus like You, You by TWS or Over The Moon by TxT

In the current age of AI that especially has been gripping Kpop this MV makes me so emotional. All physical sets, in camera transitions and light work. It's so amazing and shows how if you just have a creative and skilled team you can make amazing things.

When I saw that the song was only 2:28 long I was SO MAD but after watching the mv for the first time I was like wtf... what the fuck.... they managed to satisfy me, the #1 hater of short songs! I made a whole tweet about it on twt as well why I think it works & why it doesnt feel incomplete and you got it too 🙈 like do I think they couldbve added maybe 10-20 seconds for a real proper bridge, yes, but honestly it doesnt even really need it (thats again just my hatred for short songs speaking😂) bc I'm just so used to short songs suddenly cutting off when you expect more to come *cough * txt *cough*

Wait til you hear the full album - it's SO good. Their best work so far, which pains me to say because I love their discography and their old sound, but they did such a great job highlighting all the members' strengths on this album. EVERYONE shines on it.

bruh THIS was an insane comeback!!! they re-branded REALLLY well... I'm soooo happy JIWOONG got to show off his vocal and rap much more!!! i love his vocal colour the most in ZB1 (since Hot Summer) and until now i always felt sad that his vocals never got showcased as much... UNTIL NOW!!!! urgh THE MAN HE IS. defo would've loved to see the and2ble members do this song too with them but I have to learn to move on and accept and only dream about HAO on this song D;

I've been following since the first episode of boys planet but I just couldn't find myself enjoy zb1 since their debut.. (most of my faves didn't make it so maybe that's why, n I was not into their bright concepts. in bloom just wasn't my thing) their title tracks starting from end of 2024 has gotten better but not enough for me to dig my head back into the fandom unfortunately. I am in love with this rebranding though. much more mature just like what happened with Kep1er. Can't wait for their new direction. And I guess it's time for me to check out their old stuff again and give it another try.
