I'd never watched Produce 101 while it was airing, but I was watching Produce 48 during its broadcast. While waiting for new episodes, I started watching Produce 101, got completely hooked on the show, and ended up becoming a fan of I.O.I. :D So I'm really happy about this album. Honestly I'm not so into dance dance music, so 'Suddenly' was like a fresh air from current songs (I especially dislike EDM and HOUSE). But IF I is probably my most favorite song from this album.

As someone who fell in love with I.O.I 10 years ago, this album is very precious and meaningful. TOP tier production and the girls sounds amazing! Thanks for the reaction. They did musicshows where they performed Suddenly and Where my girls at, would be cool if you could check them out. also, if i recall correctly, chungha was considered the third best vocalist behind yeonjung and sejeong.

There’s already a lot of emotion built in for reunions, but I think there’s something quite special about IOI coming back together in the way that they did, now as grown women with way more agency and knowing who they are and feeling their hands on influence with this album, being the first, standing out as IOI and having to have the journey cut short as they had to just follow contracts and reconfigure their career standings for better or for worse as known former members of IOI, but now they get to define their sound and who they want to be as artists, a sense of control and personal touch they couldn’t necessarily have in their own groups either

I liked IOI when they came out but like they said, it was such a short amount of time and they had to just follow title track concept with no clear vision of their direction, not being able to reach full potential and the group is chock full of talent but quite distinct ones at that; being able to now have an album that is able to utilize their vocals in a way that’s complimentary to all their unique vocal tones/colors combining, especially for those who were limited what their company dictated especially like Chaeyeon, Yoojung, or Doyeon whose journeys got cut short, ALSO now they are all way more experienced in idol work and bringing that maturity to understanding ones voice and good qualities IS SO NICE ON THE EARS and just in general hearing the maturity of actual life experience brings that added level of authenticity

theres a few live stages of IOI (Where My Girls At) and the girls are just having so much fun on stage its what actually got me to listen to the full album since I hadnt gotten into kpop until after they disbanded and had previously had little interest other than listening to very very very. im glad i did though i really do love this album and it really does show their veteran status as singers and performers in the industry

Yoo Jung has a single album releasing June30. Also, the group finally got a music show win after promotions ended. Their 10th win for their 10th anniversary!

As someone who got into kpop during the end of 3rd gen/early 4th never cared about older groups, so i respect those reunions and songs and made me appreciate them, same thing happened with gfriend last year they made me go back and check most of their songs, same with Apink.. Also i believe there re no singers like older gens ones nowadays so i am falling for their vocals in general.

“Goodbye with a smile” was supposed to be their disbandment before they got “Downpour” from Woozi as a final choice. The girls mentioned that they said “Fxxx this, why would we go out with a smile? WE ARE SAD, let us cry and sad for our disbandment!!!” lol. So this song just got shelved for 10 years before this album. Also, I don’t know if you remember PD but Jinyoung was basically working with IOI since their Produce 101 days with songs like “In the same place” and “When the cherry blossoms fade” which were fans favorite songs. Edit: What you said about this song and their lack of experience also rings true PD, I just watched them live in the recent concert singing this song and you can clearly sound the difference in their voices. They have lived their lives with experiences.

SPF+ 100 scratches that kpop summer song itch for me. I haven't come across a release that's really filled that staple 2026 summer song quota quite yet. It was "body" by Dayoung for me last year and SPF+ 100 may be the closest thing I get to that this year 😅

Hopefully you can watch their live stages for Suddenly and Where My Girls At 😊
