Been waiting for this reaction!! Just a few anecdotes you might find interesting: *06070 is the postal code of KOZ’s old building, where they spent most of their trainee days. *Woonhak’s grandfather sadly passed away while they were abroad, so Woonhak wasn’t even able to attend his funeral. He heard the news right before a performance but still pushed through. This was only a couple of months after their debut, and sadly, his grandfather never got to see him perform live. *“I Wonder” and “I Wonder, Always” (aka Always) are different songs (although Always is more like a spin-off track with extended verses from all the members). And yes, Always is a CD-only exclusive. In their HOME series, they explained that they notice and remember when major fansites or fan accounts close. That is probably the “anxiety” they are referring to in the lyrics (and “VIRAL” being a serenade to those who left the fandom). *I don’t know if you noticed, but all the members participated in producing this album! They worked on I Wonder & Always together in particular, which is probably why the lyricism feels so sincere and moving.

Love your reaction! I really hope you check out their HOME documentary series. So far there are 4 episodes. The first 2 are 40-50 minutes long and the other 2 are 20 minutes or less. They are really open and honest about their thoughts process on making this album and their worries!

Forever You is so beautiful musically, and then you read the lyrics and breaks you down so much like. Knowing Woonhak's story, made the song 10x worse. I Wonder is so good as well the pre-chorus was just perfection... ngl I can yap for every song in the album, but this 1st full album of theirs is the most well produced and most personal songs I have heard as well. Everything is sooo good!

Ahhh this album is so so good! I think my favorite songs are I Wonder and ddok ddok ddok, but I love every one of them. Good luck to every one that is ticketing for the U.S. today! I'm nervous because our Texas venue is so small 😭

YAY!! this album broke my heart and put it back together. it’s so deeply personal and, as you mentioned, so so beautifully written. i could not stop crying during ‘forever you’, especially after having finished the documentary (highly recommend!) woonhak in particular has such a special place in my heart and it crushed me to learn how much he was going through at that time. i could genuinely go on for hours about each song, i don’t even think i can pick favourites yet lol. but as of now this is definitely aoty for me!!

This is the first time I’ve heard anything from bnd and just wow

as a gyopo, it turns me off when some kpop groups overuse english lyrics because, in most korean songs, their lyricism is of exponentially higher quality in korean. I think BND is the perfect example for this: When BND debuted, my friend showed me the music video for "One and Only" and what I remember most is my visceral rejection of the song which was due to it's overused and poorly used english. As a fan of BND now, I still find it difficult to listen to a lot of their heavily promoted (and heavily englishified) songs--Hollywood Action and dokdokdok, for instance--and actually enjoy it. Hearing 06070 really cemented this belief of mine--the wordplay, the rhymes, the rhythym, and the story told was able to be so much more complex and authentic and personal because the idols were singing and writing in their first language--their most comfortable mode of aural communication. of course, the type of song that it is also gives way for interesting music that I happen to enjoy, but that doesn't override the fact that the lyrics and the execution and the story and the actual song was just so good because it was in korean. but i think nice guy deserves a small shoutout for changing my mind just a little. it turns out, there is a vaugely sweet sort of 맛 to cringey lyrics sung by cringey dudes singing and dancing about the cringy shit. i like this one. it's funny.

Forever You reminds me of that one GOT7 song.. I just can't remember what that song is 😭
