I love izna, man. I love them so much and I love their music. But why does it feel like they are still holding the girls back and not using them to their max potential?? Cus what do you mean you have a mosnter of a rapper in Koko and you give her half a proper rap in only three songs. You have two of the most interesting and unique vocal tones in Saebi and Mai ans you give them one verse and a chanted chorus. And you have an absolute BEAST of a vocalist in Jungeun and yes, she gets all the highnotes, but where are the powerful adlibs, the vocal layering with her harmonization??? Idk, I feel like in this album only Sarang and Jeemin were properly used. Sarang had some stunning moments throughout all the songs and Jeemin’s unique tone was so well-placed too. But I feel like the other girls have much more to give (Sarang and Jeemin too, but here at least they shone very well)

Nothing has beaten the debut ep yet for me either, but I do really love that this project feels cohesive as you say. The song choices feel as if they have a purpose and not just trying out a bunch of sounds. I hope the next comeback they keep progressing forward into new things whilst developing their signature style and properly utilise their talents more. I’ve been listening on repeat so much and infinity has really become my favourite over time💞

Man I have come to really love izna so much and I think this album was heavily catered to the izna fandom as that’s what nayas want to hear from izna. So I’m greatly appreciative of that. Many songs here similar to racecar, sign and timebomb which I think r right up most naya’s alley. And I have only seen positive reviews from the fandom. But now that they have done a pretty cohesive album I hope they do branch out a little in the next and there is a bit more variety for more of the general public to listen to. We have seen them pulling off a plethora of concepts especially thru their covers and OSTs so I’d like to see that translated into the music they do next time too. But even just disregarding all of that I just hope izna gets more popular with this comeback. They r still sooo painfully underrated imo. I also do think the members r still under utilised. Especially Koko and maybe Saebi/Mai/Jungeun too. Obviously Koko is just an idol rapper but I think she can be an absolutely amazing idol rapper at that but she is so heavily underused it’s a shame. Still can’t believe the entire album has like 2-3 bars of Koko rap only which is actually kinda offensive lol. Especially when we know how well she can rap and the dynamic it can bring to a song. And honestly most of the vocalists weren’t fully realised either. Their vocal tones definitely popped in most of these songs and it was super pleasing to hear. Especially Jeemin’s tone was perfected and I think Sarang too. But at the same time I think all the songs were pretty comfortable and safe. I feel like none of them were really pushed out of their comfort zone? Like there weren’t that many Jungeun high notes/adlibs, or deep vocal tones from Mai which we know she is good for. I thought most of Saebi’s lines (except maybe rip) weren’t that memorable? It’s not even her like I still vividly remember her beautiful vocals on sign. I just wanna see smth like that again I guess. Sarang as a lead rapper and lead vocalist was used pretty well tho imo. Nevertheless this was a solid 8-9/10 album for me as well. And their performances for metronome and rip have been stunning. I guess I wanna see them branch out a little more and utilize or push the members capabilities a little more. AND I BEG JUST LET KOKO RAP LIKE AT LEAST 4 BARS 😭😭.

Infinity is a fan song dedicated to naya. Lean on me is a song for each other, a promise to stand by each other’s side.

To be fair Not Just Pretty is the album that they experimented the most. I guess from now on they might be more consistent with the retro sound for album releases (since it's what VVN is doing the best right now) while be more diverse with singles.

Yeah ur right. I think quoting pd I guess id personally like them to keep their current style, whether its rip, metronome or smth like supercrush/racecar but be more musically adventurous than they were for STT, closer to their debut ep. Some variety like NJP is good too. But that’s just me and tbh if izna releases something I don’t like as much but does really well for them id genuinely be really happy anyways, as I do wish more people can discover them. Regardless I enjoyed STT a lot lmao and it’s been on repeat for me since it came out. Especially Metronome, RIP and RPS. So looking forward to what they do next.

Like someone already mentioned, Infinity is the official fan song. The vocal modulation in the chorus that you found interesting, while many fans are disappointed that no one sings in that part yet Mai has very little lines at the end of the chorus, I believe that part is reserved for fans to sing along during concert. Well of course it's still unfair for Mai to sing that little in a fan song.

From what I observe by following izna these days, it seems like Koko herself and The Black Label don't want to limit her to just rapping and dancing. You feel that Koko needs to have more bars but she sings in other parts so it's harder to give her more lines on the rap verse. To me, it's either Teddy and his team don't have enough trust in Koko's rap skill, or Koko wants to sing more. Recently she also left a message on Jung-eun's cover that she wished she could sing like Jung-eun one day. Personally I also want to hear her go all out on rapping for once, but seeing her improving her vocal comeback after comeback is also a very nice thing to see.

I totally agree on your take that izna has a unique sentiment that set them apart from other groups. That's also why their covers, especially of 2nd and 3rd gen songs, receive a lot of love. For that reason, I hope you can do a bonus reaction to their cover of Afterschool "Diva" at Seoul Music Award 2026 :D

Side note u shud react to izna’s zip daesung episode if u have the time to! It was hilarious lol.

I love this comeback. I feel like this is their most cohesive comeback. I genuinely believe they had the best comeback compared to the recent other ones. Hope you can react to their covers for if i say, I love you from KCON Japan 2026 and DIva from seoul music awards. I hope they keep putting songs that are true to their sound rather than keeping up with the trend to "popular". But I do understand you need to be popular to survive in the industry. Hopefully they get the recognition.
