MONSTA X'S B-SIDES ALWAYS SLAP, YOU CANNOT DENY IT

Hyungwon's voice doesn't get appreciated as much but he's got such a unique voice!

Secrets is my favorite track on this album, it got so stuck in my head and I love that old feel

Addicted and Rotate have now become my new faves from Monsta X. Adding the whole album to my playlist as we speak ❤️

Thank you for the listening party :). Also, on their Fatal Love album IM and Jooheon sing quite frequently. Hyungwon and Minhyuk's line presence is a lot more prominent in the last couple years I find. Livin' it up was released a while ago when the distribution of parts was a lot smaller and also shared with Wonho still.

This was such a great album! It's so hard to choose a favourite song! I do have to point out that Hyungwon actually produced Secrets (his name is credited first on Genius Lyrics so I'm guessing he had a heavy hand in producing and arranging) Once again he did an amazing job!

This is definitely one of my fav albums of their’s 💕

Thank you for this listing party, omg. I'm so into rotate. I don't know so korean so well(English too, but anyways), but after the English parts and after Kihyun parts I was like "wooow dude, it's so sexy and cool".

Monsta X has aged like fine wine! They've always been involved in their own song production, but this album has definitely raised the bar. Changkyun produced Rotate, and I was blown away. I had the exact same reaction to Kihyun's high note in the chorus, I replayed that song over and over specifically for that part. Thank you for the listening party! You should definitely check out their "Fatal Love" album, it was also some of their best work.

became a patron so i could hear this listening party!! <3 so glad you loved the EP, sometimes i feel like you're one of the few kpop youtubers that gives monsta x the time of day so i always look forward to your reactions. :) my fave off the album has to be gambler, it's just too damn good. you should absolutely do a listening party to fatal love, please please please! it's genuinely a religious experience and the best album i heard last year AND my song of the year is on there, and i keep up with every single kpop release so i had quite a lot to choose from LOL. anyway fatal love is easily their best work ever and it's a MUST listen

The beginning of the chores of Secrets reminds me of some got7 B side song

This album is on repeat at my house often. When I first listened my thought was how much Hyungwon and Minhyuk stood out on several tracks. I don't hear them enough, but that's what happens in a group. And with Kihyun in the group, well ...

Even after just the one listen to ‘Adddicted’, I am EASILY “addicted” to that track😉

This whole album was amazing - I love how much they have a hand in their music. Hyungwon in particular impressed me with the lyrics and other aspects he had a hand in in Secrets!

Enjoyed your reaction to this album! They never miss. Their album before this (Fatal Love) is one of my favorite kpop albums ever.
