Hey PD I just wanted to let you know that I dont think the nct u universe vid got uploaded on patreon really excited to see it, also get well soon! :)

WiseSmellyLegs

Alright... here comes the episode, when I'll be crying. I mean there were said moments, when somebody was eliminated, but in this episode I cried for real and for completely different reason (I don't want to say any spoilers for those, who are watching this with PD for the first time...)

Ash

ohh watching ep 9 when it came out…i was shaking in my boots honestly

Thabit Ayob

The next episode got me super sad

BaoziBang

I would have also given Team Shock 97 and Team 2PM 96, purely because I think Team 2PM had an easier Team if I think about the Characters of the Trainees in it, so good Teamwork was kind of expected. Team Shock surprised me a lot because I hadn't expected them to work that well together because the Trainees seem more introverted and a bit closed of so I am more impressed with their progress.

Thabit Ayob

Pnation trainees are all reminding me of treasure somehow either by looks or skills

Irving

From this episode my favorite performance was 'Shock' like in my opinion I felt like the 4 of the members did amazing and I always want to keep replaying that performance, 10 out of 10 is a close second tho

Amanda Araujo

man Amaru got me in the feels he is amazing and i really hope he debuts, and for me the 2PM Team was better than Shock Team i really liked them more and they felt like a debut group already with that performance i honestly would have given them a 98 or 99

It took me a minute to pick the show back up after my one pick got eliminated this episode. Like, the only reason I didn't cry for too long was b/c they revealed Lee SeungGi and I freaked out. I definitely liked 10 out of 10 better here than the original. Otherwise the song just doesn't do anything for me anyway, so I personally liked the Shock performance much better. So for me it was personal taste in songs that decided my favorite performance. I do think Dalla Dalla was the weakest performance even though I like the song a lot.

Maria

haha I thought it was Loco too (it’s the hair!) and had the same reaction when it turned out to be Seung-gi 😆

Malaki.H

Honestly goki is scary, because if he's like this at this age I can't imagine how the hell he will be like in his twenties

LoLo

I feel like they put Team Shock one point higher than 2PM Team because of the eliminations - I think it was strategic in the fact that maybe JYP didn't want anyone from Team Shock to be up for elimination that round (though they wound up saving the 2PM Team member anyway). Just my opinion. But both teams really were neck and neck for me, I'd have been happy with either one taking first place.

I liked the Shock performance better than the 2pm one because I thought it was well balanced. Every member had a time to shine and impressed me either by their vocals or charisma.

Kpop_Platypus

You know who Dong Hyun reminded me of in that Shock performance (which was my personal favorite, btw, even though Keiju's my bias)? Bae Jin Young. He does the same facial expression & gestures in Movie Star & their charisma and confidence are mesmerizing. (Totally unrelated side note: ELAST's latest comeback, Dark Dream, has that part at the start of the chorus that goes "Every day, every night" but there's a pause after "every day" and my brain - without fail - fills it in with "I shock." 😅) When PD was complimenting Koki's acting in the earlier rounds I was like, "Just wait til you see him be the woman later on!" and that time has now come. 😁 I'm very interested to see what PD thinks about the results of the casting round!

I would have given 10 out of 10 team 98 or 99 personally and for Goki... gosh i mean he's debut ready, he really is but that's skill wise, he's just too young. he's so talented but for his safety and everything idol life shouldn't be put on a 12 year old, especially in a country where he doesn't know the language and hasn't been in for a long time, thinking someone is mature for their age always backfires in the long run and i don't think they should risk the issues that could cause him and others especially in an industry where so much is expected of you, in a country that is unfamiliar to him, with members that are so much older than him, I just feel like it'll drain a person so fast even if they don't want to admit it, and the amount of weirdos around, debuting minors at all is risky, but 12/13 ( since he's 13 in jan) is just really really pushing it, i think they should wait 2 years at least, then he can learn korean and get use to korea a bit more too

Melody

Tae woon reminds me of Seonghwa from Ateez not Junkyu. They have similar looks and are opposite of what they show on stage. I definitely liked the Shock stage the best because Dong Hyun was so mesmerizing, his singing and facial expressions were the best!

onyx.

i prefer shock over 10 out of 10, mainly because of the choreography, the dance moves are intricate and impactful and it goes extremely well with the concept of the song, although i do think 10 out of 10 have stronger rap and vocal skills

At 8:26 you asked who was the kid in red, that is Kim Jeong Min, he was in team with Koki last round, they performed Obsession by EXO, he was the one, who wore all white clothes. K-Pop Group: SATTALA (First Team): As you said, this performance did not have the sauce. The reason is Ye Dam, Keiju and Jeong Min are mainly dancers and those types of dancers, who shine in their group, when those other members are not that much focused on dancing, or mainly Keiju and Jeong Min, with Ye Dam it depends. So since all of them were put here into one team, they lost their special charm. I do not know, what to say about Jang Hyun Soo, since the very beginning I do not know, how to connect with him… or how to phrase it. P-Dar-Nation (Second Team): Woo Kyung Jun (former P Nation trainee) was good and much better than last time, but since he was compared to Lim Kyeong Mun many times, because both of them are strong introverts, I would compare them here as well and I would say Kyeong Mun opened himself much more and basically did it better. Amaru (I guess you know who he is) was phenomenal here! About him I was writing in my first comment in this episode, so he is the reason, which made me cry here… Lee Dong Hyeon (the one you said looks so different from previous round) has brilliant facial expression and he learns quickly, that is for sure, but he is not my type, I guess. But I can imagine he would be such a strong all-rounder if he was trained for a couple years. Zo Doo Hyun (the last one here) is really interesting dancer, because he combines figures and movements from modern dances with the choreography they do for LOUD performances. Highfive (Third Team): This performance was the best of this category! I do not know, what to say. This team could easily be a debuted Kpop group. Maybe some of them could have been a rapper or to be able to rap more, so GyeHun would be the only one and they would be perfect! I think JYP did not give them higher score, because he likes Lee Dong Hyeon a lot. I do not know, if I can add anything up to what JYPSY said and you mentioned. Maybe I would put Kim Min Seoung higher (he was placed as the last), probably not on the third place instead of Lee Gye Hun, but on the fourth place instead of Youn Dong Yeon. Eliminations: I am glad they saved Kim Min Seoung and Kim Dong Hyun! I thanked JYPSY so much! I also liked Do Min Kyu, but although he is awesome producer, he is not good performer, so it makes sense that they rather keep someone like Yoon Min, Kang Hyun Woo, Eun Hwi or Daniel Jikal, who are able to produce and perform as well. I mean to perform anyhow, not only to dance. But it would be interesting to have sort of “hidden member” in a group, who would not perform, but he would only took care of their music and production and still would be a part of the group, so for example he would go to talk shows with the rest of the group. I liked Haruto and although I think he would deserve to go to the next round, I do not think he would be able to make it to another round, unfortunately… I understand the elimination of Kim Jeong Min, there is nothing else to say. But at 1:03:44 we can see Cheon Jun Hyeok hoping for Kim Min Seoung and Kim Dong Hyun to be saved, which is interesting, if we consider Jang Hyun Soo was not saved yet at the moment,,, I am not trying to say he does not like Hyun Soo (they were both P Nation trainees), but it felt like he knew Hyun Soo will be saved anyway, which gives me feeling all former JYPEnt or P Nation trainees knew they will not be eliminated, because JYPSY gave them into LOUD to debut them, since they were planning to debut them anyway, so they used this show as a promotion…
