This show generally goes a really good job of not falling into the cliche of dramas having conflict driven by characters that never communicate things that would fix issues easily. The premise of the show in general justifies miscommunication up to a certain point. What's interesting to me is that we're at a point in the show where communication SHOULD be open and fix many problems and yet it's almost like the characters are finally falling into that drama cliche, BUT I think it actually says a lot about where the characters are in their arc right now. Hyunsoo is still learning how to trust and how to be honest, but he's not there yet, and that's why he didn't say anything. He's so used to relying on himself and he doesn't want to drag Jiwon into it, and he's still figuring out how to trust her. This is also why he feels so betrayed by her and the hallucinations start again. He needs her to trust him, but deep down he doesn't think she does and that makes it more painful when it turns out part of that suspicion might be true.

MAN THIS EPISODEEEE my god this was so stressful and that family is so messed up im really hoping the mother goes against Heeseong in the end and reveals things, also i just have NO IDEA where everything is going now because we're near the end but also so much shit is happenning??? damn i cant wait for the next episode
