I so excited for you to react to the next few episodes. A couple weeks ago I watched the first episode of The Penthouse just cause I wanted to see how crazy it was and then I got way too invested and ended up bingeing all three seasons in 5 days. This show certainly is a journey.

Wheezefest

A few things *clears throat* • Ju Dan-tae and Oh Yun-hui are disgusting.....I love it. If someone had told me at the beginning of the season that they would have teamed up like this- I would gagged and said no there's no way...but now I am still gagging but I'm also very intrigued and want them to keep going for plot's sake • The thing I find most interesting about this show is seeing the character development for the characters. Some of them start out seemingly bad or seemingly innocent or neutral but over the past few episodes and especially with the change of events with Oh Yun-hui's character- I really that all of these characters are on a spectrum and they can drastically move on that spectrum. I just find it fascinating to see characters not be just set on being a good guy or a bad guy fr the writers • The last thing you said about parents and their toxic love for their children really stook out to me. Sometimes, I feel like parents do things not even for their own children's happiness but for their own and they mask it as "I'm doing this for my child." But imagine how some kids would feel if they knew their parents went to certain lengths just for them to succeed? Take Rona for example, she was happy she was able to move into Hera Palace and got into the school she wanted (strictly speaking on beginning of the season Rona not when she had her angst phase)- I don't think Rona would have wanted to go to Hera Palace and the school if she learned why she got in which was her mother pushing someone to their death. Rona's entire success story is built off of her mother's wrong doing and the aftermath of Min Seol-ah's death. I don't think she would trade her mother's innocence and her being a good person just to be rich but because Oh Yun-hui loves her so much, she is forced to without her knowledge which is messed up

I've never loved a character and then hated a character so much & so quickly as Oh Yoonhee after the last couple episodes. Her motive to turn so quickly seems kinda week to me, like I get it she killed her daughter but she got rid of all the evidence. And she seems to justify her actions with Suryeon lying to her as if that would make them even. Also Suryeon actually did help her a lot even if she was just using her, she still made Oh Yoonhee rich, gave her a job when she gambled that money away. I also dont buy into her whole "i'm doing this for my daughter" narrative, that's the same BS that Seojin tells herself whenever she does something. It's only to save their own skin. Rona would be just as miserable to see her mom like this as if she was in prison. Anyways you guys at least made this twist way more enjoyable and entertaining by being so grossed out by the kiss scenes between her and Ju Dantae

^^^ This. I believe this is a generational thing and millennials will do this less as parents. This idea of “I’m going to do this for my kid” but doing something that your child wouldn’t want…means that you don’t care about their feelings. “You’re just a kid you don’t know any better” is such a farce. They view their children as POSSESSIONS, just because they came out of them, and not as people with their own thoughts and beliefs and desires. It’s such an incredibly self absorbed attitude most parents of that generation have towards their kids.

Oh Yoon Hui and Ju Dantae are a very interesting dynamic and I definitely noticed the tension more, watching the season for the 2nd time with y’all. I laughed when you made you prediction about these 2 a few eps back because honestly, never in a million years would I have expected Yoon Hui character to go this route, especially with J. But I’m excited for you to watch the final few eps of season 1, it gets more juicy(?) from here on out.

Typing as I’m watching. As someone who does their own tarot readings, It bothers me that the misinterpreted the death card during that tarot reading. Lol the death card is misunderstood and doesn’t literally mean someone is gonna die. It represents change and shifts. Getting rid of things that no longer serve a purpose in your life and inviting change. it can also represent that clinging onto something that is ready to be released can cause more pain and lengthen the process. This wasn’t too important but I just wanted to note that.

Hello, sorry to bother but I can't seem to watch the video because it keeps saying that it doesn't exist. What should I do?
