Been so excited for this listening party ever since the album came out, I love this album so much and couldn't wait to hear your thoughts on it. Regarding Tzuyu, I'd say it's a combination of her growing as a vocalist and simply being given stronger parts. When Twice debuted, she was one of their weaker vocalists, whether it was technique, her young age or the fact that she was singing in a foreign language. Her transformation over the years has been absolutely insane, with her now being one of their most stable members. I'd say confidence definitely plays a huge role here too, you can SEE she's not scared to sing in front of an audience anymore

I've always loved your reactions, especially to Twice. Watching you freak out over the smallest things feels almost like reliving the first time I listened to it. I discovered you when you did the listening party to Yes or Yes, I think that was your first LP to Twice? (not sure). It was my first album too, I've watched your content until now, and it has been a ride. I still remember freaking out over love foolish so much I stubbed my toe, watching your reaction to the song helped return the bliss I experienced listening to it for the first time. You've grown into a Once, and we as a community love it. For me, Twice was not just a group, like the album name "O+T=&lt;3", Onces and Twice make up love, we're all a big family and we welcome you to join. I know it might feel lonely for you, but you always make my days. After first listening to this album, I thought to myself: "PD's gonna love this" and you sure did. Whenever you feel tired or burned up, just know that we can always wait, your mental health comes first. Other than that, wish you a good holiday =))

the espresso (idk how to write that lol) high note is insane. it's so high (maybe her highest belted note idk) and nayeon's mixed register is so consistent as it doesn't get headier as the note gets higher. the melismatic agility too, she's so great. it's such an ariana grande moment and i lived.

You probably see it but this album is literally like an experiment that Twice did they took a risk and did songs they don't normally do even members doing songs they don't normally do the title is fitting O+T=&lt;3 it was an experiment for us as Once as well to see if we would enjoy this direction Fun fact: little inside joke the Cactus song that was written by Jihyo was believe to be written because her Cactus died a few weeks before so the members teased her about it and she had to explain that it wasn't because of that (Rip) Jihyo Cactus Also Why did PD ending review of this album sounded like he's saying "I see the light now I get it I'll join you once" lol we welcome you with open arms

Moonlight was produced by The Stereotypes who have done a lot of work with Bruno Mars, so you nailed that comparison. Shim Eunji from Last Waltz is an in house producer, she also worked on Love Foolish.

When I first saw in the Tracklist Teaser that Nayeon, Momo and Chaeyoung would do a subunit track together, I wasn’t surprised at all. When I saw those 3 names, I hoped it would be a rap focused song and it was in the end. Nayeon is known in the fandom for always wanting to rap more, and even has her own rap name “MC Rail”. Momo sometimes gets small rap lines in songs and Chaeyoung is obviously the main rapper in Twice. I was pretty excited for this, because Momo has my favorite rap voice in Twice, and I hoped for Chaeyoung to get a long rap verse, which she rarely gets and now she got longer ones in 2 songs (Hello and Icon). I also think this combo is fanservice (MC Rail being a big Meme in once fandom), because even if you don’t vibe with this song at all (which I can totally understand and I have seen many comments saying that, because its so different from Twices usual sound), you have to like it for the memes, and hey, and also made you laugh in your reaction :D Apparently Momo struggled a lot recording this song, because of the long rap verses and also them being mostly in English. It took her multiple hours and almost made her cry and give up. That being said, Twice said the subunit combos were decided by the members, and I think we can thank Nayeon for giving us Rapper Momo (my personal guess). Nayeon and Momo are super close in private. I really hope Twice will do the subunit songs during their upcoming concerts on Christmas in Seoul and in the united states in February.

Moonlight was in contention for being the title track for the Alcohol Free Album. I suppose if we would have gotten Moonlight, it would have gotten different lyrics and ofcourse in Korean. The song cactus was written out of the perspective of Jihyos small cactus in her room, which is funny because the lyrics are as very deep. The cactus sings about Jihyo neglecting it and not watering :D Also when Twice members write a song, they get to decide which members sing what part and for this song Jihyo even directed the song, while the other members were singing their parts (you said the whole song sounds like how Jihyo would sing a song, so that makes totally sense). What you said about Scientist being different to the usual Twice song and lacking the post chorus, I can kinda agree too. A lot of fans think this is one of Twices weakest Title tracks, its probably because of the things you described. I personally like it a lot and is one of my favorite Title tracks. The “hmm- hmm” part is just too catchy. My 4 favorite songs of this album are Icon, Scientist, Last Waltz and Hello.

Thank you for all of the wonderful work you do. This was definitely a LP that I was waiting for. As for the Tzuyu question, I feel like this development comes from a shuffling of the line distribution. Honestly it feels like whoever does the line distribution puts members next to one another where if you aren’t looking for it you don’t realize that multiple are singing back to back simply because they blend so well together. From this it feels like what normally would be a Nayeon verse line has sort of shifted to a Tzuyu or Sana line while Nayeon is held for the intro and chorus. I think the same goes with Jihyo and Jeongyeon where parts that normally went to Jihyo are starting to trickle to Jeongyeon. The first time I noticed this was in Alcohol Free. As for variety content, after watching Dreamcatcher SuA’s most recent VLog and hearing your comments I think the variety shows help to humanize our perception of idols from something that is deity-like to someone that goes through the same struggles that we do. It’s also sort of a view of domestic life verses a perceived exotic life.

I'm so glad to liked the album, it is one of my favourite albums from them not just on terms of the song but vocally they did new things subtle but new and I loved that I've been into kpop and twice for like 2 years and honestly is so good to see your journey with them I appreciate you always were open to learn and see more of them even if you were a casual listener and now that you have seen more of them is really nice to relate even more to your reactions I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thank you for sharing your thoughts and struggles I hope you can feel our support and appreciation Ps: fun fact cactus was written by Jihyo for her cactus Ang that bc of their busy schedule and she couldn't take care of it and it died

I've also always been a casual Twice fan, and their music has always been a bit hit-or-miss for me. I absolutely love some of their songs (I Can't Stop Me is a strong contender for my all-time favorite kpop song) but I never got deep into them as a group, and never even bothered getting to know most of the members' names. That changed with this album. This is easily my favorite Twice album, one of my favorite albums to come out this year, and listening to it turned me into a Twice fan and made me want to get to know the group better. So yeah, I don't think it's just that you had become a Once that made you love this album so much. It's really just that good.

Thank you PD for continuing to do these reactions for us - not gonna lie, I also did get emotional at the end of the listening party. TWICE is such an immovable beacon of positive energy, whether that’s through their music, chemistry, humility, or relatability, and it was awesome to witness someone mentally answer the question of “do I genuinely, wholeheartedly, LOVE this group?” This is also my favourite TWICE album; the first half was funky-dance-pop-heaven and the latter half is TWICE’s euphoric pop sound while still experimenting and pushing the boundaries of their current 156 song discography. My personal favourites are Icon, Cruel, FILA, Espresso, Rewind, Cactus, all the subunit songs, Candy, and The Feels (so 2/3rds of the album lmao).

about hello, actually nayeon and momo are know in the fandom for also being good at rapping, you should listen to the likey part. switch version and do it again for examples. they don't get rap lines but they really should! also, love to see you as a once, you described everything i think about being a fan of them. not only their songs are great, their choreography, professionalism and everything, but i just love these girls so much! twice is amazing

Long read of fun facts: Speaking of their discography and your comment on how the members should write more lyrics, the first official TWICE song with a member contribution is an OST by Nayeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu titled “당돌한 여자 (Daring Women)” way back in December 2015 with Chaeyoung writing her rap. The first song with all the lyrics written by the members is “Eye Eye Eyes” on the Signal mini-album, co-written by Jihyo and Chaeyoung, and the first songs penned by just one member are “Love Line” by Jeongyeon and “힘내! (Don’t Give Up)” by Chaeyoung on twicetagram. Their contributions really exploded in 2019 with the Fancy and Feel Special mini-albums where the members worked on 9/12 of the Korean songs and Chaeyoung is even an accredited lyricist and composer of “How u doin’”, a song from “&amp;TWICE”, their 2nd Japanese album. And from 2020 onwards, 6 out of the 13 songs from Eyes wide open and all 5 of the b-sides from Taste of Love have a member credited as the sole lyricist. It's really impressive how they’ve grown so much as artists - from a couple of contributions per album to writing half a full-length and a whole mini all on their own. Back to Formula of Love, this album is wonderful, boundary-pushing, and mature but still fun - it’s what TWICE is, and really what more could you ask for?

Been waiting to see your reaction to this album. I loved the whole album and a no skip for me. Moonlight was my favorite B-Side at first because I love the old school. The beat the Stereotypes used reminds me so much of DeBarge’s Rhythm of The Night and gave me the 80’s vibes. Icon, Last Waltz, Espresso, Rewind, the Subunit songs, it’s hard for me to pick a true favorite because I love them all. Just a great album all around. I went through almost the same thing you did with becoming a Once. I discovered them last year and Kpop in general last year because of the pandemic and having a lot of time to watch YouTube, etc. Seeing how they are and listening to all of their music, watching all their content, and just seeing how they are just made me such a fan of them.

PD you need to know that the song Cactus is literally written by Jihyo about her actual cactus that died because she failed to take care of it lol. This fact makes it so much funnier considering how sad and deep the lyrics are. Also this is the first time Twice member has composed a song, good for them. I hope to see more Twice self written/ composed songs in the future. This has been their most innovative album ever, so many new things. Best album ever, been listening to the whole album front to back no skips.

I love the way you enjoy and pay attention to the little details, and as a Tzuyu’s biased I love that she’s growing on you. Vocally I think this is their best album. I think it’s one of those words that has been used so much in music that kids started saying it and over time the meaning changed to what you’re referring to. The original, or at least EARLIER definitions, was way more sexual in nature.

You should definitely check out their debut mini album and first comeback mini album. Rapper momo is on the bside “Do it again” from their debut mini album. And she is an amazing rapper. I agree this album is amazing. Cactus and 1,3,2 are my personal favorites.

First YEAHH! Glad to know that you are ONCE now! -My general reaction and journey to a ONCE: Now to be very honest I myself was a casual listener like oh they are cute, their songs are also cute. That's it. But like for real I don't know since when I got so much interested in Twice. And like i agree to your point of them being so professional on camera. But after digging a little "the" point where I realized that how much these girls love each other changed my entire life. I got into Twice not because of their music but because of their personality and the bonding between each other. That was something new for me cause I usually get into groups by their music. And after that during this whole ONCE journey I explored a lot more about the group. Like dude every member either its dance or vocals are so well trained. Its just that a title track cant justify all in a 3 min MV. That's why we have b-sides. And thank god that I found Twice cause ( well its little biased of course ) but damn their b-sides just hits me different. Twice is a group which is still growing after 6 years and damn their music is just getting better and better. And like I am really proud of these girls and what they are doing. Love it! - Highly recommended Suggestion for a series!!: As you are currently watching Switzerland series, I would HIGHLY recommend you another series, if possible and I promise you will not regret it if you are looking for a bonding Twice series. I think its even BETTER than Switzerland. You will get to know what we ONCE all are talking about when we say they have a fucking closest sister bond between them. Its TWICE SECRET SANTA series. In this every member was given a secret manito and they had to prepare a gift for them. So like every member made a little vlog while preparing for the gift ( each vlog is hardly 5-12 min long). After that we had a 30 min episode where they reveal their gifts and secret santa. Damn that was a emotional roller coaster ride. Trust me PD I think I have seen lots of ONCES recommending you that. So here I am, cause I literally cried while watching that. One of my fav TWICE series. I hope you would react to it. - My fav song from album: As for album, that album if my freaking top album not just of Twice but all the artists that I listen to. Chef kiss. My fav songs are Last waltz, espresso, all fucking subunits, cactus ( even though i dnt listen to ballads that bitch ( cactus) made me cry- Jihyo wrote this song for her dead cactus btw), Cruel, Moonlight( fun fact moonlight was the another title track in discussion along with alcohol free, at the end alcohol free was selected by the members). But like last waltz is like fucking dope for me, how can someone turn classical music into something that is dope. Lyrics, vocals, composing, the arrangement of the song everything is so on point. Last waltz is a pure art for me. Same with cruel, damn that song hits me, like really HARD! Overall the album is 100/10 for me. Twice is now like straight on battle field facing and dropping every baseless allegation on them. Not the same shy shy group but the ladies have matured so much and so their music as well. Love it. - A little motivation: Have a great day PD, keep exercising, stay hydrated and yeah every one is going through hard time, me as well. But i think that's how life works, we have to work through this phase to get on to the next better phase just like ups and downs. So if you feel exhausted take a day off put some music and dance like crazy or eat something good, that helps me to calm myself , so I hope that will help. Thank you for your content. Whatever recent Album Twice has it will always be the best The Scientist was the best album so far and for sure their next album will be the best album so far they are just special like that. My favorite bsides are Iconic, Cruel (how tf is Dahyun so good at writing lyrics btw), Last Waltz, Espresso, Cactus and all the subunits. Many people disliked Hello in a similar way that many disliked Lisa's Money. And I listened to it the first time and I was blown away just like you were. I am really happy I am not the only one who absolutely loves it. I can really understand your emotions to be honest. I have been a kpop fan for roughly one and a half year, maybe a bit more, but I was always into twice but it has grown so much in such a short time. I feel emotional for this album especially because it is crazy and great to me that a group can change up their style over a couple of years while being in their sixth year. These ladies are legends in my eyes already and I hope they renew with JYP and build an even bigger legacy. Nations Girl Group was something I did not understand for a long time but recently I saw what it really means in twice.

I've been looking forward to this since the album came out and I love this listening party and all your reactions and comments! Things I should say: 1. Yes, "O + T = &lt;3" does mean Once + Twice = Love, BUT it also means O(ne) + T(wo) = &lt;3(rd) Studio Album. Amazing, ain't it. 2. I never really looked at Moonlight as something that had lyrics that don't fit Twice because they've been maturing as artists after all and I just kinda grew up with them and all that so it didn't really bother me 3. Icon is such a great song that Twice did and is kind of a message to all the haters basically, such a queen type of song 4. Cruel is sooooo good. The vocals and falsettos that the members were hitting just made me go insane. Dahyun is such a great lyricist and I think she also gave out the parts to the members (because some members are the ones giving out the line distributions when they write the lyrics) and Dahyun really did a good job giving the members great lines that made them shine. Dahyun golden pen every time. She has this knack for making a story with her songs and putting in the feelings from that song and make it so good. Just like Scandal, SOS, and Bring It Back from before. 5. LAST WALTZ just crushes me every time I listen to it it's so good and really electrifies. With what you said about Tzuyu and noticing her vocally, here's what I can say as a Once and as a Tzuyu bias. Tzuyu in their earlier years was capable of already going in different ranges, however, she wasn't the most polished vocalist yet and they didn't really give her much lines to shine or show what she can do. I think the best example of them using her vocals in their earlier years was her bridge in Precious Love way back in 2016. But, over the years, Tzuyu has not only worked hard on getting better, but has gotten opportunities in different songs to show off what she can do. Objectively speaking, Tzuyu is not the best vocalist in the group. But I can really say that Tzuyu is one of, if not the best, complementary vocalist s in the group. She's such a flexible vocalist that she can adjust to any genre and blend well with any member with ease, to the point where sometimes you couldn't even tell that she was the one singing and be like "Wait... Was that Tzuyu?". She's grown so much and I'm really happy people are starting to notice what she can do 6. ESPRESSO. My favorite song from the album. The lyrics are so great and playful to all the analogies of coffee that are involved. The vocals and the instrumentals just work so fucking well. Also, that Nayeon high note is to die for. The "drip/drop" parts that Dahyun does can never ever leave my brain. 7. Rewind. Such a beautiful song that in my opinion really shows off Momo and Sana's great natural vocals. Also, with what you said in which Nayeon and Jihyo in that style at the start is really such a great thing to hear, I completely agree. The thing that made me fall in love with Jihyo and got me connected with her was when I she was on Masked Singer with DK (yes, of SVT) and they did Dream. That was something that really made me fall for her. Also, with Sana, it's just so great to hear her in that type of tone and range because she just sounds really great in that area. Like, when you hear her speak in Japanese her voice is lower and soothing, and her singing in that type of tone is just a masterpiece. Sana is just the same with Tzuyu, in which in their earlier years, she wasn't the most polished but has gotten so much better over the years in what she can bring to the table and I love that for her because she's getting so much praise from people for her capabilities. 8. CACTUS. Oh, my dear Cactus. When I first heard this song from the Album Preview, I immediately went "OH SHIT THIS SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING DAY6 WOULD DO". Not just because it's a rock ballad and it's day6's forte. but from the instrumentals, to the buildup, the key, it just screamed DAY6 for me. I think Jihyo maybe could have gotten influence from the bands that she listens to, like Day6 and ONE OK ROCK, she did amazing for her first composition! Also, this song is literally about a dead cactus. Jihyo had a cactus named Ang and it started to die. This song is about Jihyo doing her best to save it, hence the "Save me"s in the chorus, and she wrote the song from the sadness she felt from it dying. RIP Ang. And the members were not together when they recorded it, so they all went in there alone in the studio just doing their best cause Jihyo made the song. Jeongyeon sounds soooooo good in this. 9. Push and Pull - This was such a groovy and fun song to just listen to, It's so great to see all 3 of these members mesh well and show of their skills in rapping and singing. As you said, these 3 really brought that attitude and sass with them in this song. 10. Hello - Ngl. This song took time to grow on me because I was so weirded out by this song at the start. But it's grown on me so well. These 3 rapping together made sense to me actually because Chaeyoung and Momo are in the rap line (Main and Sub respectively) and Nayeon has been vocal about wanting to rap before, she even has a name (MC Rail - rail, because she had wire in her mouth, or braces). Overall, just a baddie attitude song. Your comments about Momo having a better rap tone than Chaeyoung and Dahyun, I actually agree with, because Momo is a great rapper. I'm actually happy that since 2019, they've been using her more in that rapper role, but I still need more of it, honestly. 11. 1,3,2 - The song I looked forward to the most. As I said earlier, I believe that Tzuyu is one of the best complementary vocalists in the group, and the others that go with her, are Jeongyeon and Mina, so having them in one unit together was a dream come true for me. They meshed sooooo well in this song and just gave us vocals. Also, rapper Jeongyeon and Mina! Such a great song MY GOD 12. Candy. Don't have much to say about it because I heard it way before the album dropped during their 6th anniv live. But it's such a great song that's kind of dedicated to ONCE and how we make them feel. 13. PD IS FINALLY A ONCE OH MY GOD. It's such a great thing to see you reacting over all these years to Twice music and content and slowly grow as a Once, especially since you watched Healing Camp and especially now during your journey with Twice in Switzerland - literally the same Twice TV that made me a ONCE. When you get to see Twice and get to know Twice, and see how genuine they are and how amazing they are together and all the dynamics, it just pulls you down that rabbit hole. Because, I can say this, these girls together have such an amazing sisterhood and love for one another, it not only makes you feel like you're watching a family, but that you're part of the family as well. There's so much Twice content that you can watch to see their relationship, like Twice TV6 in Singapore which includes Jihyo too (actually, any Twice TV, especially TV 1-6) and Time to Twice Tdoong Forest (which is waaaay more healing than Healing. Camp), Welcome to the ONCE family PD, you're loved here! 14. And last. Thank you for doing your best in doing the things that you do and giving us content, even if you go through those tough times. it's so fun to watch you react to twice in general but this was an amazing reaction! This album was so goooodd. I do agree that scientist is lacking something but it's still pretty good. I think all the songs are very good but my top 5 are moonlight, F.I.L.A., last waltz, espresso, and push &amp; pull. I can't wait to see them in concert!! It's gonna be my first twice concert. I wonder what songs they're gonna do... like they haven't performed any songs from more &amp; more till now so that's a lot. AND! they seem to always sing older songs, so I wonder how it's gonna be. hope you guys can go to the concert!

Loved the reaction. My personal favorites from this album are Moonlight (reminds me of Treasure by Bruno Mars, someone even make a Treasure x Moonlight remix on Tiktok xD), Cruel, Cactus, and Push &amp; Pull. I wouldn’t consider myself a once but I have been following Twice since Yes or Yes and this album really caught my attention. Definitely one of my favorite kpop albums.

Despite being a twice fan of a long time, I am exactly where you are with Tzuyu, I've always loved Tzuyu but it feels like recently its the first time I'm genuinely hearing her VOICE. I think its because in the beginning they gave her smaller parts, but with the members writing songs they give tzuyu way better parts where she can really finally show off vocally.

Hello PD! Your journey has been amazing. I had a similar experience where I really did like songs such as Like Ooh-Ahh , Cheer Up, and TT but it wasn't until I started really getting to know them that each comeback and album after that meant a lot to me. Things like TWICE private life to the twice tv series or even just a video of Jeongyeon bawling her eyes out and then buying all the members a bracelet because she felt they had a really rough year. For me every comeback since TT is that much more impactful and sweeter when you realize how amazing these girls really are.

I’m so happy you finally became a once!! Hopefully sometime in the future you’ll be able to listen to the rest of the albums you haven’t heard yet because there’s lots of gems there. My favorite songs from this album are Push &amp; Pull, Hello (which had probably one of the biggest divides of opinions that I’ve ever seen on a twice song before), Espresso, and Candy!! And Chaeyoung has always been my bias so she really stood out to me on this album. She had so many good parts, it made me happy

Oh I've been waiting for this listening party and was not disappointed, this was super fun PD! I was listening to this album casually while working today but watching your video was a whole other experience, all the different ways you kinda lost your mind about these songs was so entertaining to watch! Especially surprised and happy how much you enjoyed Cactus, I had a similiar reaction without even reading along to the lyrics, their voices in combination with that rock ballad vibe is just so touching. Fun fact though: Jihyo wrote this song with her cactus in mind which she didnt water enough so it eventually died, which kinda takes a bit of the seriousness of the song away but also makes it really sweet, idk it's just a funny story imo. All in all this might be one of my favourite albums ever, with SO MANY amazing songs that it's almost impossible for me to pick favourites. So my 3 least favourites are Real You, Rewind &amp; Scientist but they are by no means bad just everything else is incredible including the remix at the end (which I normally also hate but this one is actually better than the original for me).

Thank you so much for this! I've watched most of your TWICE reactions (all of the ones on youtube for sure) and it's amazing to see you finally turn into a ONCE :). These girls just bring me so much joy, that it always makes me happy to see someone else love and appreciate them the way I do. Regarding the members' voices you're definitely not alone. Wether it's because of the songs, the direction given to them, or their own desire to change and improve, all of the members have seriously stepped up their vocal game in recent years, especially Sana and Tzuyu! Even as a Sana bias, she has always stood out to me because of her personality and stage presence, but I've never noticed her that much on b-sides. That has definitely changed over time, but especially with Perfect World and now this album. If you're interested in hearing another song, where they really got to show different sides of their vocals, I recommend their Japanese track 'Scorpion'. On a different note, I'm really glad, that you've started watching TWICE in Switzerland as it is one of the main shows that really turned me into a ONCE as well. I can't afford to become a Summer tier patron right now, but I'll definitely catch up on it in the future!

Also everytime I hear The Feels, im realising, that there couldnt have been a better english debute for Twice. This is for sure my favorite twice album. the way i screamed when I saw that you posted your reaction to this album!! Like you mentioned, it has been such an exciting journey watching you fall in love with twice, and I think what made it so interesting to watch was the fact that my own journey to becoming a ONCE just came so naturally that I’m not even sure how or when it happened lol, so being able to watch you was really relatable and it was like reliving the first moments when I fell in love with twice. And I’ve been saying this for so long but it’s about time Tzuyu is getting recognition bc this girl has GROWN. I dont think people realize this but she is definitely someone to look out for. She said it herself that she wants to be recognized for her talents rather than her visuals and I think this album is evidence of that. I feel like she was one of the members that got overlooked vocally and dancing-wise but she’s grown so much over the years, proving herself worthy of the lead dancer role and as a complementary vocalist that adds a distinct color to twice. And I think thats one of the reasons why I respect twice so much, the fact that despite their already immense success in the industry, theyre always still improving and arent afraid to experiment with new things. I've been following your for quite a time now and it's been fun seeing how Twice grew on you. They were always this group to you that "never disappointed" and you seemed to enjoy their music. I would say you starting noticing them more from Fancy You, just at the time they starting transitioning into a more mature concept, but keeping it "Twice". Ever since Feel Special listening party there's always been a B-side that blows your mind away and honestly it cracks me to see someone react genuinely the way you do when you like a song/MV so much. I'm glad you're a Once now, they've constantly cheered me up and made me feel good either through their music or their IRL content, they feel so relatable. Going to one of their concerts was one of my dreams and I'm lucky to say i'm seeing them in two months. Hope you get your tickets too! I can truly feel how you feel towards this album, for me it is Tzuyu who brought me into Twiceland during Feel Special era, as a ONCE, seeing you turn into a ONCE is truly an amazing experience, i felt happy for you that TWICE is the one who can make you feel Happy, make you sit down and listen to 1.5 hrs of an album without complaining, this just proof Twice already successfully change you, they can be your happy pill whenever you feeling tired. And you not late to the game, Tzuyu did improve alot in her vocal quite awhile already, just that she hardly given a chance to show off her vocal, apart from her Melody Project and B-sides from FOL where we truly can listen and appreciate her vocal

oh pd. thank you so much for sharing your experience. i have a similar experience in my daily life but for different reasons. i have a chronic fainting disease that became especially present this year, and on a bad day i giant 20-30 times a day. unfortunately, this is my first year of college. i spent my first semester alone in my dorm while all the friends i had made at the beginning moved on without me. because i’m constantly stuck inside, i’m so isolated, and it’s hard to deal with, but i found myself very emotional listening to this album, and it gave me a sense of hope. to me, i think this album felt like all the girls were not only together again, but finally able to make the music that they had wanted to try out and were able to fully show their potential. it really inspired me in my own life. i’m glad we could both relate in some way pd, and i hope you feel more seen knowing that others feel similarly. we’re in this together.

Thank you so much for all the effort you always put into your videos, PD!! This album is rightfully my personal favorite of 2021. Songs like Last Waltz, 1,3,2, Espresso or Cruel...I could listen to them all day!! Regarding Tzuyu...She's been my bias since 2016 and the main reason I chose her as my most favorite member is her voice...She always has my favorite parts of the songs and her voice is hitting me the hardest among all of them...I'm glad I discovered her so early so I could see her development...Compared to Sixteen, she's grown so much!! In every aspect possible!! If you go back to TWICE's older music and pay a little bit more attention to her, you'll see that she was already good. I feel like 2018 was the start of JYPE giving her more lines...Especially the Yes or Yes album...She sounds amazing in there...In 2019 and 2020 she started to get more complex lines and in 2021 I feel like she was finally allowed to show her best side. I think that in the Taste of Love album, she got so many good parts and she started to be noticed not only for her visuals but for her talent too. Perfect World album is a vocal flex from her...She has so many important lines just as choruses or killing parts...And in the Formula of Love album, it finally happened...She got the most lines in a TWICE song!! Tzuyu was the only member who had never been 1st in a line distribution before this album dropped...And what a song...Last Waltz became easily my favorite b-side and I think it suits her so much...I'm glad she started to be more and more noticed and overcame the 'just a pretty face' allegations!!

I used to be like you PD, I used to always check the routine Twice title track comeback but never went to discover the b-sides, up until the day Feel Special released: That was literally a game changing experience for me, I went to check the b-sides because people was freaking out over them, and not even joking, EVERY SINGLE SONG on a Twice EP/Album after that, ALL playlists. I guess that comes from the fact that they matured in every aspect and that's what made me fall in love, with this album even I came to the conclusion that Twice easily slipped into my ult list, they are just insane. I found myself thinking like... who's gonna do it like them in the future.. they sadly cant go on forever.. anyways a truly amazing experience with this group, I also noticed Momo a lot and she really stepped up finally, she's one of those artists that if she puts her mind into it she can REALLY do anything, she's already one of the best dancers in the industry, she can sing, she has INSANE stage presence.. and now she can rap too!?!? Mind blowing. Either way thanks for the quick reaction upload and im glad to hear u felt happy with this, even if its your job but it makes you feel better, that means you truly loved it!

Yo thank you for this reaction PD !! I was searching for your reaction for this album and realized its only in patreon and had to immediately watch it. I am a little late though but whatever. This album is such a masterpiece and I cannot find a word on how to describe it. That ending realization is so emotional. The moment I learned about Twice it was when I watched Sixteen almost immediately ! Like that show has so many red flags and hardship for the participants and Im glad they have the success they have right now. This group of 9 talented individuals has always been feels like a family to each other and I just hope with the success of this album here we got to here more of them in the future.

I personally think that being a ONCE is something you define by yourself. It's not a criteria that can be solidly defined by a collection of people or even buying into the 'official fan club' or whatever it is they sell. I've been following Twice since Sixteen. That was my introduction to them. Seeing someone fall in love with Twice is one of my favorite things. I think that comes a lot from my experience of falling in love with SNSD and subsequently Twice (along with many others). And seeing other people do that is such an incredible thing to see as an outsider. I cried during this album because it hit me just as hard as it hit you. I'm so proud and happy for all their success. Twice has helped me through my own hardships and I'm glad they could do the same for you even if it was just for one day. I'm not sure if you'll be there, but I hope you'll be able to go to at least one stop on the world tour in February. Hopefully I'll see you there!

The benefit of watching a persons' reaction that I enjoy the most is that your experience while listening to this album is a chance for us as viewers to experience this album as a first experience all over again, through you. Quite a lot of the emotions you felt during this reaction, (smitten by vocals, gobsmacked by the music production, in awe of the impact of this album as a whole, touched by the growth of TWICE) not just by me, but many others got to relive that again through you, so we thank you very much for allowing us to experience this with you. Just as an example; I had the exact same reaction as you when I first heard the chorus of Cruel. When you had that reaction as well, it quite literally rekindled inside me exactly what I felt when I first heard it. I know it's hard to get a grasp of the audience at the time of recording and what we/they are experiencing while watching you, but believe me we are going through the same emotional rollercoaster alongside you when we watch your videos. It's honestly amazing to watch your experiences and the impact some videos/people/music can have on you, and as much as being behind a camera by yourself may feel lonely while you have these moments, know that we cherish these moments you have as well. As far as Tzuyu goes, my experience with her growth has been that in her earlier days she hadn't really figured out her colour. Along with that, I think it was very hard to stand out as a vocalist when you're on stage next to Jihyo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon. And along the years she started gaining her colour, her own character as well as improving her vocals through practice, but more importantly through her experience on stage. Gaining confidence in herself and finally having a unique colour to her voice has definitely made her stand out more as a vocalist in the past year or two and I feel that it's well deserved praise.

I am just now noticing tzuyu’s voice and she has very recently become one of my fav vocalists in twice and although she’s not one of the strongest vocalists in twice I feel like her tone really makes up for that and I loved her voice the most on this album

Thank you for this incredible listening party. I have been a once since 2017 and well I have also been watching your videos since 2017 too. It’s really beautiful to watch someone’s journey to being a once live like this because it makes me remember what it felt like. I have to say when you listen to a twice album with the perspective of being a once its a whole different feeling. Like you have said its almost strange to get emotional over a pop album but thats also how I feel about this album. There has been many times where twice have been able to get me through some pretty dark points in my life and its not something I ever would have thought this type of music could do to me but nonetheless I’m grateful for it. It's so so so amazing to see your path trough all Twice's career at the same time I see how Twice has become one of the most solid girl group of all their generation in terms of music. So i'm watching this way after the fact; i definitely also became a huge fan of Twice in the last couple years. i remember checking out a few of their earlier songs (i think Dance The Night Away and Feel Special) and they didn't totally hook me, but since Eyes Wide Open and on i've been totally invested in this sound they've delved into. Formula of Love is absolutely my fav, Cruel is incredible and i didn't know Dahyun wrote the lyrics!!! (i don't usually look up credits) and i almost never tend to leave comments on any creators videos i watch (here or YT) since i assume the person will never see them and they'll just get drowned out in the sea of other comments, but i really love watching your content PD! i love the insight you bring to your discussions on these videos, it sets you apart from a lot of other takes/opinions people throw out there. much love &lt;3
