Just a random thought that came into my mind while watching the interim ranking thing: It's pretty funny how they were obviously trying to help out Haeyoon from getting getting eliminated but, considering that the final group was adjusted, didn't end up bothering to add her to the final IZ*One line up. Like....what's the point then? Maybe they changed their mind about her later? Or maybe she just didn't get enough votes and popularity in the end for them to consider adding her in? Seeing the rankings again while they change throughout the show also cements in my mind that, while we can never be exactly sure about this, I'm almost entirely positive that the rankings were real throughout the show until the very last one which was manipulated in real-time during the final live episode. A lot of the ranking changes during the show felt organic relative to the girls' popularity and not based on a pre-set final line up. It doesn't make sense for them to put Gaeun in 1st for so long if they were planning to drop her at the end. I bet they were monitoring the popularity of the girls and the makeup of the top 12 throughout the show and just decided to tweak the final line up at the last second. At least that's just my personal take and feeling on what happened.

After the scandal erupted, i rewatched PD48. I notice the same thing. To me, it seems like production immediately focus on certain trainees at the start. It felt like they already have a shortlist of participants they wanted to win. And they were given screen time and they were monitoring closely how the public is reacting to these participants. And yes, i do think they made adjustment as the show progressed. We all know that the lineup was decided days before the finale. So we don't really know whether the elimination for the top 20 and top 30 were indeed manipulated. Personally, i think it could have happen here. To me, the top 30 participants were fairly accurate in terms how the public has been voting that time. And all those participants are deserving to debut whether they got eliminated before the finale or not. I have my own theories, i'll remain silent. But if there is a discussion here in the final episode, i'll air them.

The moment we suddenly watch Lightsum Chowon X Secret Number Minji collab or Purple Kiss Goeun x Everglow Sihyeon ... a bit queendom-ish ^^

At the end of the day, Haeyoon did not have nearly enough big of a fandom to be a contestant for top 12. I was a haeyoon supporter since day one since I love FNC artists but it was evident that she was scraping by through her sheer talent in these rankings and mainly relied on people second or third voting. Her onepick rate is pretty low. Rigged aside, the trainees who made it in all had sizable kfandoms and public support, some ifans even not aware of, so the final rankings wasnt a surprise for kfans. It just happened that trainees like gaeun and chowon was rigged out while having support
