You may remember Yeonkyu from Treasure box.

these boys are so talented! so glad i checked out this video because when i first saw the debut, for some reason, i didn't fully see it/appreciate it

I'm happy to hear your opinion! I thought the editing and production was amazing and I was surprised to see no one else was talking about this! Just to note this group was formed from IST entertainment's survival show A or B origins which featured the company's trainees competing for debut. Also The Boyz has been under IST entertainment since 2021 and their first release under IST was Maverick.

The member you said that looks familiar he is yeonkyu/ Yeongue(from Yg treasure box) he and jeongwoo did the blackpink stay cover!

As people have said, Yeonkyu was in Treasure Box. The Boyz were in Cre.ker, but they merged with Play M to make IST. ATBO were formed from a survival show that started off with like 13 boys and the group ended up being 7. I wasn't sure with the sound they'd go for, but I really feel like they found one that suits everyone . They also have started a variety show: https://youtu.be/cOmSpCJj3sY

"Why is this guy with the black hair in the center look familiar" "This guy got a really nice voice", yes pd that is Yeonkyu and you knew him from YG treasure box!

I’ve been obsessed with this group and song since debut!

If you’d like to see some content from them I’d recommend their survival show! It’s 8 episodes and and only one hour each, on 1theK channel called The Origin, A B or What? JayB, Minzy, and Sungkyu were judges. It’s a rather short survival show but it’s a great intro to their personalities and skills!!

I watched The Origin specifically for Yeongyu so I'm super excited this group debuted already! I thought it was a bit quick since the show just finished airing in May and I'm totally not used to getting a group only a couple months after a survival show ends. I was worried, but I had nothing to worry about. The charisma is there and they seem very well prepared! I've heard their stages are really good too, but I haven't gotten around to watching one yet.

Oh my God YESSSS :D This is the one I was looking forward to the most. There is so much when it comes to making videos that I don't understand, and the things you notice are always so cool to know. ATBO stands for At the Beginning of Originality. It's similar to how VICTON stands for VoICe To New world. Sejun and Subin were actually part of the judges who checked over the group towards the end of their survival show, as well as Bomi and Hayoung (since Apink is also in IST). I was really really really hoping you'd mention the transition towards the end :D I think you mentioned once in a debut video that it's important to show the members in a way that they can be remembered or a way for them to be known apart from the rest. Monochrome (Color) felt like it was amazing at that, definitely They did debut with an EP ^-^ There's 6 songs, one of which is the ATBO version of a song they performed for the survival show.

Creker merged with playm so the boyz are under IST as well now & apink are also there 😂

I was waiting for someone else to mention the anime slideshow effect lol. On first watch it reminded me a bit of the Cowboy Bebop intro
