It took me a second watch to adjust to the chorus but I really love Pink Venom. I agree, it is right up BlackPink’s alley. I actually think that this was particularly good as a pre-release and I’m really excited now to hear the actual title track!

their dance practice for pink venom is fire. their best choreo and dance practice in my opinion. I also had get used to the antidrop chorus, but I now think it is one of their best releases... love it

It was less then a week PD! The Pink Venom MV got released on the 19th of August, they filmed the MV for their comeback the week following that + pre-recorded the inkigayo stage and the VMA's was on the 29th! An insanely packed schedule! YG didn't plan for them to do an Inkigayo stage, but the girls wanted to perform at least once for the fans

I really love this comeback and yeah the first listen, i was taken aback by the anti-drop because they've never done that before. as soon as i figured out they were going for a 90's vibe with the chorus and the JenLisa rappart, it clicked for me! this has definitely been one of my favorite releases from them as well! and I feel like 90% of the reviews in general have been positive for this comeback

Blackpink released another MV a few weeks prior to Pink Venom, Ready For Love. It's the song they recorded in the studio and teased in their documentary Light Up The Sky and it was finally released as a collab with Pugb. Might want to react to it as well

I've loved this song since my first listen! tbh if I were to just look at the lyrics written out, then I would be majorly disappointed like "oh look at that Teddy is doing DDU-DU DDU-DU part whatever" but for some reason I'm obsessed with it when I'm listening to it and like you said I feel like the ra ta ta works really well with the choreo. damn Teddy got me again. Also obsessed with the choreo during the chorus especially the fang move that they do and then Rosé using a similar move but with the rock and roll part OOF I'm in love

I love the song despite the outro that I don't skip only for the last chanting part that I was obsessed with. Also the chorus and it's choreo is perfection 🤌

I loved the song since it came out and it’s frustrating that I can’t articulate why exactly??? Like is it the anti-drop + a get ‘em? Is it the sick guitar prechorus? Is it the 2nd verse rap section 👀👀👀 ok this part really did it for me BUT I can’t articulate why it’s become one of my faves in comparison to their past stuff it just makes my brain happy

They actually filmed the inkigayo stage on the same day the began shooting for shut down mv and they even said that there was discussion about doing no stages other than the vmas but they said they really wanted to do at least one for the blinks that went to see them
