Hey everyone, the first 20 minutes relates to the Patreon changes and the last 10 minutes relates to more of my personal life update. The two go hand in hand together but if you just wanted info on the Patreon it's the first twenty minutes.

For anyone interested I'm planning a longer form personal update video for the new year :)

It's perfectly understandable, PD especially during these times. I'm just here for BTS content but I do try to get the highest tier that I can afford as a means of support and appreciation for also how your videos and reactions help my day and mental health. Hope all goes well and hope you get to do this for as long as you'd want to, and get to also film in Korea. It would be a Kdrama I'd definitely want to watch! Go with content you want to create, PD. Patrons and subscribers support creators because they initially like their content - so go with what you want. On days when you dont know what to choose or having a hard time making a decision, always choose your mental health. Always. Sending you positive thoughts and wishes. Borahae!

Thank you for this update. Gotta say, I'm happy you've decided to watch what you definitely want to and not just what you think the people want to. I should also apologize, because I have rewatched a lot of old videos multiple times. Part of me is glad I did, though, because many of them might be lost to time, but I wish it didn't give the account debt for doing that. I wish you the best in your projects and life. I'm glad there is a support tier, and I'll try to continue supporting whenever I can and go up some tiers when possible. Thank you for keeping us informed so well.

Okay great, you FINALLY put out some sort of update (though its still so late that it gets rid of some of the sincerity for me but whatever). However, my biggest issue is that you still have yet to UPDATE YOUR YOUTUBE AUDIENCE ABOUT THE MAJOR ISSUES OCURRING HERE. Idk how many times we have to repeat ourselves for you to do it. I might never give up on mentioning it because its such a freaking scam that you are actively recruiting members when you won't inform them that almost all of the content they paid to see is gone rn. You have had multiple people in different comment sections say they have tried to reach out to you about refunds and or wondering why they had no idea what was going on before they paid you money and they haven't heard a word from you. Really all the anger I feel towards this situation would be mostly gone if you just simply, for the hundreth time, update your YT audience.

I'm really happy that you are thinking more about what YOU want. We loved form of therapy for a reason. I really think is great that you are trying to get your goals and dreams back. I really loved your film and it's been soooo long since you have done a film. However PD I think you need to be a little bit more organized. For me a lot of content is not better that a content that comes on time. Sometimes we are really waiting for something and it's frustrating that it doesn't come out. So I think it's really good that you are gonna film groups that you want and not groups just for the sake of satisfying patreons. You have so much content and it's overwhelming for us too, so I can't imagine the amount of time it takes you to film it. 힘내세요!!!

thank you for the update PD! i like the daily mix of uploads, but the uncertainty of when it will come out that day, i am not a fan of. if it's at all possible for you to film even just a day in advance so there is enough time for the video to be uploaded and published, that would be amazing! i hope you're able to recover your Vimeo or find the videos. i can't imagine losing content like that.. i also hope everything else goes well on your end! truly wishing you the best of luck!

I've been a long-time follower (Jeonghan Trash PD days kind of long) and the top 2 reasons why I decided to join Patreon in August: I wanted to see more content and I wanted to help you to reach your goals. It's going to be impossible to please everybody, so I understand you choosing what you want to watch instead of doing what everyone wants. I love seeing other people win in life as well, so go for it! I love the idea of you moving to Korea. I see it as a window for you to bond on a deeper level with what you are doing as of now and making short films, movies, dramas! I don't mind it at all. Just keep in mind to not overwork yourself! I also love Blaire joining in reaction videos!! Keep your head high and keep walking PD! Cheers to a better year in 2023! Edit: Is there anything you can legally do about the Vimeo situation? That doesn't seem legal, aside from the already existing debt, its practically a loss of personal property that was passed over to them for "safekeeping". Edit 2: PD!! Please update the audience that are not Patreons! They may be looking to join Patreon in the new year for the older content that are now unavailable!

I think itd be good for you to reduce content a bit to give you more time to focus on mv reactions (even if they stay on patron and don't go out on youtube) and on engaging a bit more with the comments on patreon. I think people's issues stem from a lack of communication on your part, and that lack of communication comes from you not really reading comments enough to be aware of what the community is thinking.

I remember the loss of ability to concentrate or think even slightly hard about anything after covid but it didn’t last long term for me, that’s really rough you’re still going through it. Reacting to what you genuinely want to watch is absolutely the best way. I am really liking the daily upload thing you’ve been doing too. made me smile when you spoke about moving to Korea, I could tell it means a lot to you, I wish you the best in making that dream come true :)

Thank you for the update PD! While I am sad that some of my fav groups content is lost, I only just wanted to watch the older videos because I missed seeing certain reactions. For example, there hasn’t been much of The Boyz’ content in very long time so it was fun to rewatch things. But totally understandable and it’s not your fault. I think it is great if u are able to locate it but if not no worries. I also think prioritizing urself is key, and I think reducing the amount of videos per day will be good. You’re working so much harder than most YouTubers I’m a Patreon of and u deserve a break. I wish though we got an array of reactions though. As much as I love seeing a lot of the same groups variety, music show or performance content, I really wanna see more variety in groups. I wish we could see less popular groups content reacted to as well, groups like the Boyz or SF9, who we haven’t seen much content from in a very long time. I’d also like to say that PD you’re incredible and I really hope you know how many ppl u impact on a daily basis, whether u see it or not. With you following your dreams, you not only fulfill your goals but u continue inspiring ppl who look up to u and watch ur content. Honestly, i been expecting this to happen. It's part of getting older, priorities do change. I remember when you said in your short lived podcast that you make youtube videos for almost everything. And Umu was surprised to your response. I say PD, go for the life you want to live. Whatever it is, i think people will always support it.

Thank you PD! I'm 100% down for a reduction of content and a shift to stuff that you personally want to watch. This Patreon can only work if you enjoy what you're doing. Last year was frustrating as a Patreon for two reasons. 1) seeing the packed schedule at the beginning of the month and knowing that it will just not work out again because you just promissed to much. 2) the lack of transparence. I have no problem with supporting you with fewer content. What's annoying is not knowing what I'm paying for and then realizing that I get a lot less than expected. My main wish is: Please make announcements and schedules public for everyone, even non-Patreons!!! Changes are completly fine. But having to pay just to see what changed is not cool. It feels like a scam and that sucks. I'm really glad that you are choosing to make yourself a priority and I'm optimistic that will also make the experience better for us in the longterm :) PS: regarding the hosting service. Some other reactors I follow started to use this new Patreon in-built hosting service. It seems to work very well for them so maybe you should look into that too ;)

I totally support your decision to reduce content over time. And only reacting to what actually interests you is also better for you. You've been talking about moving to Korea for forever and if you can finally make it happen this year (or even later) I would be so happy for you. Put yourself first PD. Long time patrons should also know that supporting your channel is basically supporting your ultimate dream. As you probably know the only thing most of us want is transparency. Videos like this really show us how deeply you care and I just hope that that mentality sticks around. You don't have to make update videos every month or something but give us a heads up if something doesn't come out in time. That would be enough for me. As for the schedule, I really like this daily upload schedule with a day here and there in between.

The Vimeo situation really sucks. But it is what it is. If the old content is truly gone, then so be it. I still think you should make this information public on Youtube immediately. The reason why I was complaining about the vaulting idea wasn't so I could rewatch old reactions. It was about watching older stuff for the first time, especially drama club. I like to experience Kdramas for the first time through your reactions and there's a whole bunch of them that I haven't been able to get to yet simply because of time. About the personal stuff: I think it's good that you want to reduce the amount of content you put out. That's exactly what I was saying in my comment under your December update. Just lighten your load a bit. When one of your current shows runs out, maybe don't immediately replace it with something else. Allow yourself to do a bit less. And make less promises. Trust me, this will make your Patrons happier too. If you promise way less but can actually keep your promises this year, it will be so beneficial to the trust people have in what you say. But I do think you need to start with that right now and not just a year from now. If last year has shown anything it was that this amount of content you're taking on is too much for you to handle. It was/is a huge mess. And it has cost you the trust a lot of people have in what you say and promise. That includes me. I'm worried about you. You said it yourself, you took on way too much last year and it's had negative effects on your mental and physical health. It's good that you want to focus more on yourself and I hope you start with that right now and not just after you've managed to move to Korea. Go down from 50 - 60 Patreon videos a month to something around 30 - 40. Oh, and is there any chance you'll get back to those 2022 comebacks and debuts you've missed? You once asked for suggestions in December but never got around to any of it. Like I said, I have the list and I'll gladly provide that for you.

All good. Shit happens. Just kinda gotta take the L, move forward and learn from the experience. It'll suck that loads of content is gone. But that's kind of the nature of hosting a bunch of copyrighted content. Never a guarantee that that kind of content can stay up anyways. On to a new year with new content.

Thank you for this update PD, I support your decision whatever it is, first of all, regarding the schedule format I actually okay with whichever, so I suggest whichever helps you and is easier for you. It's good that you're reducing the amount of content as it not only gives you time for yourself, and your family, it also helps you manage the filming schedule and with less content, you sure could get ahead a month or two in filming. You can also catch up with comebacks etc too. With you filming whatever you want is great too since, well not to compare, but most of the other Reaction Patreon also not putting out a lot of content and diversity in groups compared to your Patreon PD, so I think it will be just fine with that. I was once here for IZ*ONE and during that time I'm able to explore more groups and gain more knowledge thanks to you, now I'm here for you and your reactions and I have my own ult group (thank God for LSRF) but most of your favorite groups or groups you reacted to also the same as mine, so I'm also down with the idea about thinking more about yourself, though a recommendation system like you did several times now is worth to keep maybe with a specific recommendation that you want to watch. I also dream that one day I could live in Korea, so I really support your idea and wish that it will come true. Here I want to summarize some of the other commenters' thoughts to give some of my ideas and suggestions based on that, also based on what you mentioned and based on what I see other reactors do, maybe this could help you PD: 1. For updates like either schedule or anything it would be better if it is made public and post it in the youtube community too to get a greater reach. 2. For the listening party alternative maybe you could upload just the audio like maybe for the lower tier since it doesn't require a lot of space and quality (don't know if it's possible since I have almost zero knowledge about how Vimeo and hosting works) 3. For the old content maybe you could create a new tier, it's basically above the $2 tier so they only can get access to maybe a month or two worth of content so it will deal with the 'rewatch' issue so if a patron only wants to watch new content they can have that and if a patron wants to rewatch then the tier above that. 4. This one is a small suggestion for when you react to only what you want, maybe put a list in the description or somewhere of your fave groups or which groups you'll react to, plus it's nice to know your list of fave groups now haha. Well that's all for now, hope this will be the start of better things for you PD

Thanks for the update! That Vimeo situation is terrible and I'm sorry it's happening. I'm going to be brief and do bullet points. This is exactly what I'd tell my son, who's a year older than you. Be true to yourself and don't react to things you don't enjoy just because patrons get pushy. More importantly - under promise and over deliver. We'd rather get a surprise than an excuse. Most importantly - be honest. Especially to the YT viewers who aren't patrons yet. If those reactions are gone forever, then let everyone know.

I originally came to your Patreon to watch old Seventeen, Stray kids and Ateez content as I was a new kpop fan wanting to learn more about them with you. But now, I just enjoy following new releases with you whatever the group may be. When the Vimeo thing struck, I was going to start watching the previous drama you had filmed, and it took me by surprise so I would love for you to rewatch some of those dramas as you've mentioned and BTS or SVT in the Soop with Blair (I really enjoy when she comes to react). Of course, as all the other patreons have said, your mental health is the priority, and I understand rewatching old shows might not be the priority. I’ll keep supporting your patreon and future projects (like moving to Korea). I’ve really enjoyed your short films so if the move happens, I’ll really look forward to whatever you’ll produce. Also, reacting to things you enjoy will personally make it more enjoyable to the viewers as your reactions make me fall in love with whatever group you fall in love with (Le Sserafim, &Team, Seventeen). Secondly, fuck vimeo, it's so upsetting, I can't even begin to explain how angry it makes me and I can't imagine how you feel and can't do anything about it since video won't cooperate. Now, I think deleting those old videos might be the answer, honestly patreons come and go and this time will pass and those old reactions well, they're part of the memory of this channel, but no one is gonna die because they're gone. I think letting go might be a good thing, especially in the new year, I think we should always bring negative events into a positive light. Now for your dream, it sounds really great PD. When I first started supporting you on Patreon, you talked a lot about your dream with filming and the LGBT community and I loved your short films and always wanted to see more of your personal content from your own creation. I'd be fine with less Patreon content if PD started reacting to new music again. Seeing them skip videos in the awards shows because they haven't heard the new music - as if they'll actually get around to reacting to the new music - is kind of annoying because all indications are that they WON'T get around to those reactions, even for artists we know they love/respect like Tempest & BoA, so at this point they might as well just watch the performances & consider that the reaction. I'm glad PD's putting themselves first because that's what everyone deserves, but I'm seriously considering finishing out the month & then deactivating for a while (until I feel the need to binge AIB or GoSe w/ PD again) because the Patreon doesn't really fulfil my needs anymore. 😕🤷‍♀️

I have enjoyed this Patreon for so long. I do have to say that I really hope you make time maybe once a month to check out lesser known groups. OnlyOneOf, SF9, WEi, AB6IX, Victon, and more. I feel like every single Patron I follow is watching the same exact content. No one is looking into other groups and it’s quite sad because some of the funniest content I have ever seen is from lesser known groups. My favorite reality show is Victon: Born Identity. I just don’t want to be subscribed to 5+ Patrons who are all watching the exact same content. I loved your Patreon because their was so much variety and you checked out other groups. I think something like a stream once a month for an hour or two where you check out lesser known groups would be amazing. I wish you the best of luck and a happy new year. ♥️

I think I have been more or less a constant subscriber to your Patreon since the Hotel Del Luna reactions and I have to say your Patreon is so good that there will always be content for me to stay on whatever tier. I love some of the older content but since I mostly saw it all I wouldn’t mind if it’s lost especially if you plan to rewatch some of them with Blaire! I love your dream! Hey PD, thanks for the update! I've been following you on your Patreon for about 2-3 years now PD, I don't watch all of your content besides the ones that interests me and honestly I've always thought that you have been too focused on the audiences requests and wants. I want to say that you should film content that YOU WANT to watch and you have the right to do so. This is YOUR place to film and be creative as you want. I've come to love your reactions because I've got to learn a lot about the K-Culture that caught my interests, or like in Drama Club/MV Reactions/Variety content when you're interpreting things that were misleading. I've honestly become so interested into videography cause of you, and it made me imply what I learned from you to other shows I watch to get a better understanding of the works or thoughts of why directors or writers made the show the way it was. I've also stayed around because your videos brings me a lot of comfort or I love how you get the same excitement like how I do. Of course we give you recommendations and all but it comes down to you in the end to film it or not. In my own personal opinion/thoughts, you don't need to please the audience anymore. You can't always react to everything that every single person wants you to react to cause that's literally the impossible and obviously if you don't have much interest into it. You should be having fun and love the contents you are filming because YOU ENJOY IT. I honestly want you to put yourself first too, I feel like you've become such a people pleaser that you lost yourself on the way and forgot the reason why you started Patreon. Its fine if people start to leave here because of the new changes because YOU, YOURSELF SHOULD COME FIRST. Don't overwork yourself because of the audience who wants more content from you. If I were to put it this way, all you do is give give give give give, while the audience just take take take take take. If you are going through something, its okay to be gone for a few days so don't feel bad for leaving us hanging or delaying some releases; just keep us updated. I do agree with everyone else with the new updates though, you should inform your YT followers of what's going on here cause there's been so many new people here and are disappointed that the content they came for is not currently available. Thanks of the update, like some of the other comments I've been here (on different accounts tho ) for a very long time, basically since the start, I think since I was 13... I'm turning 20 end of this year, kind of crazy. It is sad that certain things may be lost to time especially things like treasure map and survival shows as that's my fave content but it's completely not you fault so I understand, hoping there's some sort of miracle where they give the account back, feel like they have to be doing something illegal tbh because wtf. I think it's much better that you watch content that you personally want to watch, it's more enjoyable for us to watch too ( even though that shouldn't be what's most important, you should always come first). And with what you said about reuploading things u may be able to find, if u could find any survival shows or your fave treasure map episodes even out of order I'd love that. I actually remember watching your short film when it came out and I loved, so I'm very excited to see your future projects. I think chasing your dream is what you should 1000% do, I'm doing that too this year. It's interesting because I remember commenting on your Itaewon about my struggles as a trans person with family and stuff and I've finally decided I will put myself first from this year and stop making myself miserable to make others happy . I think everyone should be able to live like that so it makes me really happy to hear that you too will be going down that path of putting yourself first too. I fully understand and agree with the comments about posting the patreon parts onto youtube to make it clear before people join, but also as someone who has been on this patreon for a very long time, ( only having to leave for a bit when I have no money lmaoo) I have no problem with you needing to take a break some days or for a week even if it's sprung on us but I understand those who are just joining the patreon might want to know before hand that there is a possibility of that happening.

I second what a lot of people have commented. This needs to be made public so that new patrons that come from YouTube or so on are aware that some of the content that they might be subscribing for is no longer available. Then they can make a more informed decision on whether to subscribe or not.

Thanks for the update. I often rewatched your videos, especially SF9's because you no longer react to their content, so I only had those reactions to watch. I first joined your patreon because there was a lot of variety and you checked out other groups content. I'm sadly interested in contents from groups that not a lot of people react to. And I was hoping you would make time to check out lesser known groups. But I get that there is a lot of groups and content out there.

honestly I'd be down to you rewatching stuff eventually, ofc it's not gonna be the same, but I feel like as time passes we get diff views on stuff, and if you film and release it once it's all done like you said I think it would be fine. also, I agree with ppl saying that you should update your youtube and also leave a public update about those videos being down as well as the monthly schedules so ppl know what they're signing up for. wish you the best with what you plan on pursuing!

I understand your statement about your older reactions/reviews aren’t “yours”/the same any more. But the thing, why I like going back to some older content, is situation like: “Oh, this group is interesting, I want to listen to their discography more. I wonder if PD made a video to that, so I have someone to listen to it with” I don’t want to sound like I don’t have friends or something, but I am not in touch with them that often, so I am alone most of the time and your content makes it up to me, because your content is “natural”/it doesn’t have any big edits and etc, it feels like talking to someone. And also in case of the “Kpop realm”, I don’t have anyone to talk about that. Like I have friends interested in video production and music as well, so I time to time send them something to know their opinion, but I don’t want to spam them and get annoying, because first they have other things in their life and also not everything has to be interesting for them as well. And sure… I am active on a few discord servers, but chat is not the same as seeing the person (you) on at least a video with emotions (I mean true emotions not emojis like: 🤣🤣🤣🤣, although they didn’t laugh to this level at all) and being able to hear the voice and its intonation. Basically I wanted to say that I would appreciate the older content anyway. I am even willing to help you with any work like downloading it and reuploading it to save your time. About your future content. Well, I cannot lie… Listening Parties are my favorite as well, but I could somehow imagine not being able to go back to some of it, because the truth is live streams and anime club is the content I like even more. With live streams it’s not meant like going back to it, although I did that to watch just some parts with reactions I was curious about. But I hope live streams could come back even in the way of pure talking with you. With anime club it was meant like it would bother me, if I was new here and wanted to watch the show with you to get on on-going (like in case with Hunter x Hunter or other longer anime) and I would have to skip some episodes and watch it on my own. Or to be honest the content I have enjoyed the most was LOUD. I really love the show but also I literally cried, when I finally heard someone else talking about Koki the way I see him as well. But because of that I saved those episodes for myself to be able to go back to those parts, because I truly miss Koki… I’ve been writing this for so long already, so I forgot how I wanted to get these points together. But all in all I wanted to say that because of the time I have spent with your content, I got really “connected” to you and although this sounds weird, because we have never met, you have become something like an imaginary friend of mine to which I can “talk” to any time I need, if I have at least a phone with me. And if there is something I value more than having a freedom from anything (mainly by being able to be rich and buy the freedom for yourself) it would be: 1) The magical feeling and sense of loving someone 2) Friendship So since you are my imaginary friend, I’ll support you on your journey no matter where you go or how often and what kind of content you will do.

PD im really happy with a lot of the updates you gave because i feel in the long run this will make you and the patreons happier. Of course the best content will be produced when you're enjoying it! which means reacting to what YOU want to react to. Thankfully a lot of the groups i watch your videos for are groups that you love such as txt and lesserafim. I feel like a lot of your earlier videos were based off what you wanted to personally watch and it was lost somewhere along the way. Allowing yourself to enjoy what you do will definitely positively impact everything. The stuff happening with vimeo is rlly sad as i wanted to watch your TXT To Do reactions from the very start, but i understand the situation. Thank you for the update

The ultimate reason why I joined Patreon was to enjoy seeing your reaction to my favorite groups (which also happens to be your favorites as well, PD [IZ*ONE, now LE SSERAFIM]). While I might not be as affected as other Patreons here, I say do what you want and need to do. I really appreciate the honesty, and I'm glad you're going to try to do film making again. wow it sucks that Vimeo did that. as much as I love watching your old reaction, I think it shouldn't be much of a priority. this is just so messy and vimeo should not have done that to you. I'm not on the higher tiers so I don't know if this is still a thing, but back when you tried out throwback videos for old music videos I was so excited, because I genuinely like watching you analyze or just talk about the groups, so rewatching old content is definitely up my alley! I do think you need to put out a update video or post about patreon on youtube so people don't sign up for things that may or may not be on your patreon anymore (you mentioned making another update video separate from this one so I hope it'll go up on youtube too), sooner rather than later.
